For those that say they couldn't see much difference.....you should've gone to.......

A little known fact around these parts is that humans come in all shapes and sizes. Wrist circumference isn't the whole part of the story.
that's true..but still....

145mm and 160mm there's a difference...
and there is also difference how 38mm looks ond hers wrist and how on his....
i don't know...

Even the same wrist circumference can have very different dimensions (side, top, bottom).

The poster of that pic says they're both 42mm. It's just that one is lying flat because of the band and the other one isn't. Check his post again.

They let my change bands at the store so I took a quick photo of it without bands to show how small the little guy is!

The SS is noticeably heavier than the Alu. I felt the silver aluminium looks a bit cheap, where as the black aluminium looks really nice.

I found the sport band really comfy. I also tried the link bracelet which the guy at the store resized for me (taking off five links) and it was unbelievably easy. An ingenues design, something to save up for!

Ive just tried on the 42mm SS Mil Loop (what I ordered this morning) at Regents Street London. Infact the lady let me try on all sizes and strapes.

I might have had a slight doubt before, it is a lot of money, but not anymore. Very very! impressed. The size, fit, comfort is all much higher than I expected. The build quality is just outstanding and that screen is brilliant. It just blends into the black surround.

2 weeks just became a long long time.

The haptic feedback is weirdly awesome!

I confirm, don't trust any of the pictures/videos online.
This watch is 1000 times better when you try it
The Milanese is amazing, the sports band are incredibly comfy and soft. i thought I didn't like the leather loop, but the blue version is great!
Can't wait for mine to arrive :D

Oh, yeah, the 38mm is small! The 42mm is the perfect size (I've got a 155/160mm wrist)

I thought we had to ignore the photos ;)

Of people wearing it Phil :D

Other thread quote lol!!!

We went to the store and even the sales rep got it wrong. Demond a 38mm for us which I thought was fairly small, then after when going to get the 38mm out said "oh, sorry I was wrong, that one was the 42mm, this is 38mm" It was tiny.
Still, the wife was happy with her choice.

Hmm! I have ordered the SS Milanese Loop 38 - I do have VERY thin wrists and have a job to find bangles or bracelets that do not fall off - I usually buy ones made for children. So I am hoping that the Milanese Loop will be tight enough for me.

Janette - I have the same issue - my pandora bracelet is made for kids. I have extremely small wrists. I really love the link bracelet but was scared it would be too big even on a 38mm and not make skin contact so I also opted for the milanese loop. I'm hoping it will fit ok.

Cheers,
Bobbie

What a beautiful piece....

Just been to the shop myself in Glasgow and tried on the Milanese Loop and Leather loop. Bit annoyed about the size chart of the leather loop. According to the chart my 175mm wrist would be ok for the large loop... Well, think again... Thankfully the guy said they would be happy to change the loop.

The Milanese Loop on the other side, which was my 2nd choice but will be delivered between 24/04-08/05 was rather nice and I might keep that one for myself and change the strap for the 2nd watch for the missus.

Could not be happier. The watch is so much nicer in reality than on any other pictures...

Love it and cant wait!:apple:

After reading all these great posts I see myself driving to the nearest Apple Store (which is 200 miles away) and leaving with a handful of bands after I actually SEE them in person!

Believe it or not, they didn't have it to try on! It was in the sealed case display but that was it. Wasn't all that impressed by my favourite from the start...the SS link

Excellent reports, thanks for the post and all the pics. 170mm wrist, but what is your wrist width?

Wrist width is big factor, circumference isn't the whole story.

Totally agree. I had a bit of a tantrum this morning when trying to order online, I wasn't happy with the delivery time. I did however order the 42mm SS classic buckle. I then booked an appointment to try on some watches, also at Regent Street. The guy couldn't of been more helpful. I tried on the Mil loop and really liked it. I don't like metal watch straps, but this just felt really secure and comfortable. (sort of wish I had or ordered that.) I also tried what I have ordered and the leather loop. I like the colour of the brown leather strap but it just wasn't for me.

The watch itself was much better than I expected. Didn't look as bulky as I had expected and also was easier to use in terms of large fingers on a small screen. I was impressed.

Has anyone compared black and blue leather loop? I'm torn between the 2.

I wore the black loop and really liked it but also got a good look at the Blue and liked that too - looks deep and inky in colour. Either would be a good choice, black I guess is more conservative but the blue looks very classy

May be a weird question but I have similar hair on my arms. Did any of the bands irritate the hair? I ordered Milanese but was curious if that or the link bracelet pulled on the hair at all.

Mines 65mm so I think I made the right choice going with the 42mm SS.

No thinking....you did ;)

God no, as i saw one person write.....'if only they made underwear from this stuff' lol. I wouldn't go that far but it is smooth as anything. Top choice! You should be buzzing
