new music stuff after 100,000,000

I think Apple just might come out with new music stuff after the 100,000,000th song... to celebrate!

there are plenty of threads that reach 500 posts some go into the thousands, its not that big of a deal.

that said, now there is a new 99+ million sign in front. Looks like we'll hit the mark in the next couple hours if not sooner. I need to go to bed soon ugh!
 
Apple is showing 99,900,000+ now.

Seems like there will be no precise waiting until the exact moment to be #100,000,000. :)
 
I've bought two songs hoping to win one of the 100,000 mark prizes. I guess I can risk another 99 cents. Hmmm, what to pick, what to pick...
 
i'm still wondering how accurate that web counter is anyway, its got to take some time to get from the itunes servers to the web server and get all updated. Who knows the 100 million download could be occuring right now.

this whole contest...sitting in front of my computer, watching numbers change, sending emails to itunes100, loading up my shopping cart. stupidest thing i've ever done...second stupidest, that is...

i think its just gonna surge up at midnight and the 100,000,000th song is going to be purchased at the stoke of mid night . . . wouldnt that be cool?

midnight where? probably noy NY...not west coast either...maybe midnight in chicago or denver...

At the rate this thing is going, it'll be over in another hour, so it'll be sometime around Midnight Central Time.

Try clearing your cache. It shows 99,924,431 on the counter and Apple's front page currently as well...
 
hahha, kugino, i feel the same. Apple has turned me into a drone. when i see the counter closing in on a 100k mark, i just send email, send email, copy paste, copy paste, send to friend, send to friend, and keep refreshing the counter till its over the mark....
