That's right. Maybe you have kids, maybe you don't, but when they are 16 and driving to school for the first time, you want to be available at all times, just in case.![]()
Nonsense. What did people do before cell phones? They waited for the kids to come home from school and talk to face to face? If an accident happened, the police knocked on the door.
How is being available by text going to make any difference? Probably worse anyway, as it almost is encouraging your kids to text while driving.
If your kid gets hurt, you being available by text isn't going to change anything, unless you are a paramedic or a doctor.
I have kids. I certainly don't need constant communication or contact. If something horrible happens, I'll find out sooner or later. If something good happens -- same. You really can't wait until the day is over to hear from them?
