Scott was a arrogant prick and his design was good at the beginning but awful after iPhone 4. He needed to go. The world is flat now.
I said Steve didn't know about design, not Scott. Scott just made everything skewmorphic
There are other watches on the market. Very good ones. Check the LG G Watch R and the Moto 360
How do we know that Steve didn't come up with stuff that was rejected? Remember he didn't want video on iPods, didn't want to bring iPods to Windows, didn't support an App Store for iPhone, didn't support a smaller iPad. He wasn't always right.
Until you see Moto360 in person. Yup, imagine a girl put that Moto on her wrist..
How about a professional reviewer like engadget? http://www.engadget.com/2014/09/12/moto-360-review/
For me, the idea of smart watches is not a revolutionary idea and falls into the making everything "smart" mentality.
I would have much rather seen Apple go into a new direction for wearable digital sensors in a different vehicle for those technology compared to a watch. Many in the current generation do not even wear watches anymore since one can read the time on their phone.
Just my opinion and $0.02.
Under pressure? Can't wait to see what the iphone 7 looks like. This iphone 6 is poor. It's literally just a big iphone 5 with bumped up specs. Apple is really loosing it's mind here. I'll still be purchasing the iPhone 6 Friday but we need a Truly revolutionary phone now. Furthermore, a watch that does everything my phone does but starts at $349? Are you crazy? Again, I'll be buying the product as a collection but that's just ridiculous.

People who want to show off to their friends and have $400 to blow on notifications for their wrists will buy one.
That is the Moto 360 with ios photoshopped on top. It does look pretty amazing. A circular watch seems to compliment the iOS watch interface much better than a rectangular one.
Too bad there are no circle screens. Especially the moto 360. It's display is an abortion.
I'm holding out for the 5.5-inch Apple Watch so that my Android friends won't make fun of me.Now, you know the Apple Watch 2 is going to be one of the thinnest watches in the world. Apple is obsessed with thinness. I'm surprised the Watch isn't thinner, but then again, Apple needs to give us a reason to upgrade to the Watch 2. Lol.

Some people like round. It's called choice.
This is the G Watch R.

No wonder the iPhone 6 rear design is bad (despite what many of you say), all his time went on this watch that nobody will buy!
I already have a watch. It does what I need it to do. Tell me the time.
I have blown off way more money for my Omega and Tag Heuer watches.
Actually the apple watch does exactly what I was looking for - an iPod that I can use with a Bluetooth headset without wires for running. That's what I hoped for Apple would release and they did. And I do not need GPS tracking as I know where I did run...
Since development began three years ago, Steve Jobs was no longer around to oversee the development, but he was around when decisions were being made to define their goals and start the development. We can only speculate whether theWatch would have turned out differently with his direct involvement during development.
Don't get me wrong, the tech is great inside it (though not for me yet. Pebble has a longer battery life and that's on top of my most-wanted feature list on a smart watch) and I don't dislike what it's trying to do.
On one hand you have people saying the watch is too bulky; on the other hand people are complaining it can't function without an iPhone. You can't put into it a cell antenna, GPS antenna, etc., a battery to power it all for 168 hours, and have it still be small. Unfortunately we don't have the ability to create pocket universes yet.
1. Small and Thin
2. Long-Lasting Battery
3. Stand-Alone
Pick two.
...and they show no example of the cutoff text.
I can see text getting cutoff near the top/bottom but once the text past the top/bottom, you would think all text is viewable.
See text cutoff near the top/bottom is like getting a preview before you see the entire text.
it's bulky, Steve wouldn't like that.
