It's like ordering a burger from burger king and you wait for 30 mins and they just hand you a bag with no explanation, but say thank you. wouldn't you be mad. It only took a sec to give you money that i had to work at least a hour for and you give me a burger in 30 mins that takes like 5 mins to cook. Ivyskin all we want is a explanation for why our package is so late. i mean tell us something. the crate got highjacked by pirates, it fell in a ditch cause of a earthquake,BP gas used the cases to plug up the oil spill instead of mud,give us something. little humor for while we wait for the cases. even apple surprised me they said i wouldn't get my case till Sept. 1st and sped things up and i got it yesterday. Now that's service, I bet we won't even get a letter of apology but a letter that says "thank you for shopping with ivyskin" oh and that so call credit for the next case purchase(or whoever would even order again after this). yes, i know i can get a refund, but that is not what i want. i gave you money in exchange for a case. your case isn't in my house so i need some collateral and that is to answer my question? where is my case ivyskin:mad:?
 
Has anyone else's tracking information still not changed? Mine hasn't budged since July 21st when they allegedly shipped my case and I see that some of you guys have actually seen some movement of your package (insert joke here;)). On a positive note, I did receive a full refund back to my AMEX card so at least that part of it is taken care of.
 
The real question I have is why are they shipping first class? This tells me that not only are they being cheap the packaging for this case must be cheap as well. If the cheap packaging is any indication of the quality of this case then be prepared to be disappointed..

I chose first class shipping. I pretty much never choose anything except the cheapest shipping option. For the most part I'm never in a hurry to receive whatever I buy so there's no point in forking over more money

Yea, if it is fraud according to the criminal code. This isn't fraud IF they eventually ship something. If, in 2 months they NEVER ship and keep everyones money, then it's fraud. Right now it's ONLY 2 WEEKS LATE. RIGHT NOW, at most it's just a horrible company with horrible customer service, but (legally) FRAUD it ain't (yet). You can argue all you want but with all the attorneys in my family (there are 4 of them here this weekend) for dinner we were discussing this over beers, and it ain't fraud by any stretch of the imagination YET. Everyone is getting a bit overblown with some of these discussions. If it went to court you'd lose. Why would they perpetrate fraud ONLY on 1 item in their stock yet still ship other items. They simply are a screwed up company.

You COULD file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission for violating laws requiring notification of delays in shipment, but they still have not reached the 30 days required for even that.
 
USPS is not obligated to scan a delivery confirmation label until the item is delivered. It is not a tracking label. There's a difference. Fortunately for many of us the delivery confirmation labels due get scanned at various locations during it's shipping process allowing the receipient to track it's progress. This probably happens because it gets mixed in with the higher priority packages.

There are shipping restrictions to shipping first class. I believe it can't be more than 14 to 16oz? Either way this tells me there's isn't much bulk to this package which means these are probably cheap cases that don't deserve quality packaging therefore I wouldn't be surprised if they're throwing these things in bubble mailers.

You are absolutely 100% Correct. I have stated this at least 10 times and no one wants to listen. What I do when I bring items to the post office is have them scan them in while I am there.

Filing a claim with them might do more than filing a claim with the BBB.
 
I had received a refund based on a PayPal complaint last week. I ordered on 7/10. Mine hasn't "moved" per USPS (I'm only about 12 or so miles from them).

If mine NEVER ships that means they pulled my order before shipping (rightfully so) and did not ship it.

However this ALSO proves that they were well aware they were never shipped despite their lies saying they all were shipped if they sent you a shipping notice. They would not have been able to "catch" the shipment to hold it had it been shipped.

Now they COULD claim they ALL were lost in shipment and are re-shipping them. :eek:

im so glad i didnt preorder this case. let this be a lesson.
i dont buy cases until i have pics and have seen a review video. all this iphone case manufacturing madness (flash issues, shipment delays) is just too much this time around.

i just think that the fact that the ONLY picture of the Ivyskin Reception case is just a photoshopped image of the Belkin Shield Micra! :D
 
Yay my tracking info finally updated! I got the same update that was posted a page or 2 ago about leaving the processing plant in new jersey, but at 8:36pm July 31. I should hopefully have it either Monday or Tuesday since there is no mail on Sundays.
 
Has everyone's tracking info been updated? Mine still has not and I'm wondering if they didn't send my case out after all.
 
My tracking has not updated at all, so I am very doubtful that I will see my case by tomorrow "Magic Delivery Day" August 2nd. More lies.

Nope - no refund or threats made to the company. I did call and speak to a live person, but he assured me that my case would arrive by August 2nd at the latest. Right.

That makes me feel a little bit better but I still don't think I'll be getting my case tomorrow.

I actually did receive a refund to my AMEX but they also told me that they had already sent my case out (you know how that goes). They said I should be getting the case by tomorrow at the latest but I don't know if that's going to happen since my tracking hasn't budged since July 21st.

My status updated again!!! The case is now in Sterling, VA which is about 20 min from my house!

Exactly my point! EVERYONE should get one whether they received a refund or not IF they were REALLY shipped out when they said they were because IF they were shipped they couldn't hold them back.
