Mine is out for delivery so it should be here in the next couple of hours, based on usual Mailmans schedule for Monday.

I like how they have changed their story now that the cases did actually ship.

Maybe you'll get an empty box so keep your fingers crossed. I'm glad I didn't order from these guys.

Has anybody who's called them and spoken to somebody found out what they intend to do for people who got refunds but a case was still sent? Do they want us to send the case back or are they going to charge us again if we keep it?
They CANNOT legally recharge you without your explicit permission. They can ASK you to pay again and even ((if they really wanted to) SUE you for the $25 but they can't charge you. Besides, the "delivery confirmation" is not proof you received the package, only that it was "delivered." The only way to PROVE you received it would be with SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION. The delivery confirmation is totally meaningless.

That is why PayPal/eBay requires signature confirmation for anything over $200 for SELLER proof that something was delivered. Use your own judgement. If y ou DO NOT want it just write "return to sender" on it and toss it in a mailbox. If you want it ..... let your conscience guide you.

Good to know, thx

This is what they told me. "there was a high demand for the case and that there was a computer error which shipped everyones case tracking numbers to USPS.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That's great! Excuse #232,332. If that were the "case" all they had to do was say so 2 weeks ago when all this started.

So now everything OK with IVYSCAM eh?

I do Matthew but I'm wondering if anyone in the UK has actually seen our parcels advance with updates on the USPS site :(

I thought you had your tracking number?
:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: Delivery confirmation tracking numbers do not function outside the US. It's only for DOMESTIC MAIL!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: Why doesn't anyone across the pond understand that! If they were actually sent to you they would be sent via International First Class Mail and there would be no tracking for it unless they paid about $15 just for shipping it to you.

It probably went 1st Class International Mail. I doubt they sprung for Priority Mail with tracking. It would cost them more than the case itself:

Did I say it did? He said has anyone in the UK had there shipping email, I thought he meant off Ivyskin, so I was just enquiring...Eyes back in your socket.

And I quite understand that so please don't be so patronising.

FROM USPS FAQ:

Does your system work with overseas shipments through Global Priority Mail or Airmail?

Delivery Confirmation only works on Priority Mail, Media Mail, and Parcel Post shipments within the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The USPS doesn't offer Delivery Confirmation for International Mail, APO/FPO mail, or for shipments addressed other U.S. territories or possessions.

This means ANY TRACKING NUMBER THEY SENT YOU if you are outside the US will not "work."

If they e-mail me asking for payment again for the case, I'll be sure to send them this and tell them I hope it rectifies the situation.

Well they're now telling me that my case shipped out on the 29th even though they originally told me that it shipped out on the 21st. I also got my refund email on the 28th so I have no reason to think that my case has actually been mailed. Plus my tracking information still hasn't budged while everyone else's seems to at least be showing some progress now. At this point I might as well wait for some reviews to come in I guess.

That was just a "form" response. They never even looked up your order. I got the same thing. I am waiting for them to ADMIT they really never shipped mine on the 19th like they said they did at least 7 different times. I got a refund (and am using a cheap $6 eBay clear case which is just fine for me PLUS I have the Apple free clear case eventually coming) so I don't care but now it's just the principle.

Well the mailman came and the mailman went and there was no new case for me today! So I called Ivyskin and politely inquired about the whereabouts of my case. He looked up my order - I know he did because he called me by name and knew what state this was shipping to. He then told me that there was a computer error and that the shipping emails were sent out too early. The labels were printed up long before the product was ready to ship. He says that my case was shipped on Friday, and that the tracking should update later today and the case should arrive on Wednesday. He says that he is refunding my $5.95 shipping charge and he apologized.

So I guess that I will just wait until later this week and hope that this case was worth the wait!

As TB07-NJ indicated they can't legally charge you again. However, if you filed a complaint with your CC company to have the charge reversed on the grounds that they did not ship you a product, the CC company probably reversed the charge "Temporarily pending the outcome of an investigation" (which in most cases can last up to 90 days).

What this means is if Ivyskin can prove that the product was received by you (or delivered to your address) the fraud department could rule in Ivyskin's favor, and the credit posted to your account can potentially be taken away from you. I can't say for certain because it depends on what criteria the fraud department of your CC company will determine constitutes a receipt of goods.

If I do ever receive a package I'm considering rejecting it straight away (in which case the PO will just return it back to the sender). If they were determined to screw with us to the bitter end they would send us an empty box. I have a case to use now, and I chose the Belkin Micra through the free bumper program; at this juncture I would prefer a refund anyway.

Another lie! How many times did the say that if you received a tracking # that means the item shipped? They told me that at least 2 or 3 times and now they're changing their story once again. These guys need a lesson in honesty and ethics.

Is the UK still not getting dispatch emails yet ?

I haven't yet

got mine july 22nd, tracking still not updated

hope someone out there gets theirs today, so we can have some proof of existence! and plenty of pics pls :D so we can finally see whether this whole shambles was worth it

Mail came already today and still no case. Amazing how these guys can tell lie after lie and not feel the slightest bit of remorse. Today was the day they told me I would have my case by, even though they refunded me last week. Still waiting to hear back from "support" about why my tracking still hasn't been updated. What a joke.

lol i skim read thru those posts, i assumed that it would track til it left the US, how rubbish are USPS in that case.....

So I just got my case! The packaging is crap but the case is actually quite nice. Fits very well and the slots are perfectly cut out. The case and the edges are very smooth, I love how this case feels on my phone! I will give a more detailed review and try out the screen protectors in a few days, but for now i'm going out of town and was anxiously waiting for my case to arrive in the mail today.

OK, the mailman just left. He even had a package from Ivyskin for me. The only issue is that (and you will not freaking beleive this) there was no case inside. Thats right, the top flap was open and there was nothing inside. I was able to flag the guy down on the next street over and got him to refuse the package on the grounds that there was obvious damage and the envelope was open, so hopefully, Ivyskin will send me another.

I wish I had taken a picture, but I did not expect an empty package and did not take my phone with me and since I had to run around the block to catch the guy as with Ivskin's issues, I was a little afraid of what might happen if the delivery confirmation went through, so I did not think to run in and grab the phone or camera for pics. This was a crappy 6" x9" paper mailer with bubble liner inside. The glue was the self stick with part of it on the envelope and part on the flap. The only problem was that the glue was like the envolopes that are resuable, so it did not have enough tack - it was just slightly more sticky than a Post-it. The envelope itself was undamaged, the flap was just wide open. I will be completely unsurprised if this happens to others if all the envelopes were the same. And the label definitely said 7-20 on it.

So, I have to give them a call now. This ought to be a good.

OK, just got off the phone with Ivyskin and before I could even talk, the guy launched into the whole shebang about why they were late, so obviously they are getting plenty of calls. So, I stopped him and said, I know they whole deal, because this is what just happened (explained story above). He said no problem and they will send me another one. I asked for it to be expedited and hopefully they will be able to do it, but he was kind of non-committal.

PS, I may be somewhat new to this forum, but I had been reading for years and signed up when I was deciding to wait in line for the iPhone 4. I posted pictures of the lineup at the Southpoint store in Durham, NC on launch eve/day (check teh meetups forum) and have been posting in this thread very early. I know I have no proof without pics, but this is really what happened. :)
