Ivyskin Reception Case - shipping confirmation?

Ya, No e-mail or anything yet and I ordered mine like July 9th. I am really getting irritated. I wonder if it just a small operation or maybe they haven't got them in yet. I don't know but they have untill tomorrow to send me my shipping notice or I am filiing a dispute against them on my Paypal account.

Just because you get a shipping notice doesn't mean they have actually shipped it!

Someone on here received their shipping noticed on July 14th and still haven't got it. Shocking company will never shop with them again.
 
Perhaps they were worried with the free "case" announcement from Apple that people would cancel their orders, so they emailed the shipped notifications even though they don't actually have them.
 
I believe it is a federal offense to use the mail (USPS) to perpetrate a fraud.

I ordered my Ivyskin Reception case on Wednesday night and got my shipping / tracking notification yesterday. Like all of you, when I go to the USPS website and enter the tracking number, it just says the electronic shipping info was received.

Does anyone know where these are shipping FROM?
 
I just called Ivyskin again and spoke to a manager. He steadfastly states that if a tracking number has been received, then the item has been shipped. He was very, very sure about it. For what it's worth.

It very well may be true but I don't for a second believe that USPS only updates the information when an item has been delivered (according to the information an earlier poster was given). I've had enough things tracked by them where I know I've had updated information before an item is delivered.
 
Was seriously considering this Ivyskin, but went with the free (and very similar) Incase Snap Case through Apple. The almost identical Belkin Micra is also available.
 
I don't know if anyone has noticed? The image on the ivyskin site is the same as the one on the Belkin site for the clear micra case that is also being given away free by Apple. :eek:

Wow...Good catch. I never would've noticed that. This certainly brings up a few more questions
 
Interesting! The backgrounds are different, and you get three different colored cases on the Belkin site depending on what you roll your mouse over. Clear/purple/black. I wonder who copied who, or if the cases are just similar.
 
Actually, now that I think about it I don't really care who the case comes from. I just want to see if it works or not. If it does, great I'll keep and use it. If not, it's getting returned.

They told me the same thing when I emailed them to ask if the item actually shipped or if they just created a shipping label. I still don't believe them though because I've yet to see one person post anything about their tracking information actually showing anything beyond "electronic shipping info received".
 
I got a shipment notification email on 7/17 saying that my order shipped on 7/20...interesting. And I also like how they charged my card right away when I placed the order several weeks ago.

Yes, I do understand that but the fact is people who just ordered are already recieving shipping notices and I ordered on July 9th and haven't recieved anything from them.

It's possibly simply the same case from the same Chinese manufacturer being sold under 2 different labels. This happens all the time with many different products.

I just got a $4 Chinese black bumper (took like 2 weeks) and it looks identical to my sister's $40 Apple version.

Unfortunately I still don't have my iPhone. :mad:
