I disputed my transaction already and was refunded by my CC. never again!!!!

I thought I was the only one with this problem. I'm glad I found this forum. I called Ivyskin and no one picked up. I emailed and no one replied. This is BS!

What is the proper way to dispute my transaction. I paid with my debit card not a "credit card" per se. I've never had to do this. So anyone with tips please chime in.

Thanks in advance guys!

The only reason I have not already done a dispute with my CC is because of the fact that they are shipping USPS and they suck at tracking. If a FedEx or UPS package had sat on info received status for a week, it would be very unusual. It does happen when a problem occurs, but that would be for one of us, not all of us.

However, I've never had much luck with USPS and they often do not update status at all until after the packge gets there, even though they really should be at least moving it off of info received.

On the other hand, I just tried some zips in the USPS calculator and a Flat rate envelope or box shipped from 07606, S Hackensak, NJ, 98101 Seattle, WA or 90745 Long Beach CA should get to my zip in central North Carolina in 2 days. Heck, freaking 99692 Dutch Harbor Alaska or 96801 Honululu, Hawaii should only be 3 days, so they most likely did not get them in the hands of the post office on July 20 as claimed.

Maybe they are drop shipping them from Shenzen, China and the shipment has not actually hit the USPS yet, who knows.

If that was the case and they are shipping them from China, why would they use usps for foreign orders

Guys we are experiencing the same issues here in the UK would you believe it

Ivyskin we think have just scanned bar codes or whatever they do, this makes USPS update their systems and makes us think the orders are out for shipment

I don't believe them now with their promises in Emails, is there someone in America that could go around to this specific address and challenge them?

discussions about this are going to be held within this thread in the UK, please sign up and add any relevant chat, all is welcome

thanks

I have just sent Ivyskin this email

Just thought you would like to know that people are really getting hacked off with waiting on orders for the Reception Case

and here:
http://www.avforums.com/forums/iphone-accessories/1294907-ivyskin-orders-thread-only-please.html

There has been many issues brought up like
Did you have the stock to begin with as they don't match up with reviews (false reviews)
Why has USPS not updated their system even after a week
Why is the USPS tracking info still at your company's premises
People believe you have electronically scanned items to make us believe they are out for shipment
You have very poor customer service as lots of people (USA & UK) aren't being replied to
People are beginning to think your company is fraud
They believe the reception case picture is the same one of the Official Belkin one, the picture is identical bar the writing of Belkin up the back

Ok I ain't going to go on but you REALLY have to get your act together as this is certainly not the way to run a business. If you read all the forums you will understand why our patience is running thin

This is the IvySkin phone number. If you select Customer Service it rings for ever, and the call just keeps cycling back to the start menu.

If you select Orders then you get a real live person to speak with. Both time I have spoken to a guy who is a little bit difficult to understand.

All the comments about USPS tracking... it's much, much, MUCH better than it used to be. If they had your package, it would at least show on the site.

If you still have "Electronic info rec'd" then USPS hasn't been given a damn thing. Trust me.

I agree. USPS tracking isn't THAT bad at all. None of these cases have shipped, only labels printed.

Agreed. I know that in the past they have updated at least once or twice while the package is in transit. It's still slow and nothing like FedEx, UPS, etc., but whatever an earlier poster was told by IvySkin's rep about the status updating only when the package is delivered is total BS.

In any event I changed my mind about when I'm going to put in a claim. If I don't have the case today, which I'd bet anything I won't, I'm going to file the claim with my credit card company. I intend to switch the free case I'm getting from the PixelSkin HD to the InCase so it's not like I'll need this clear one.

Agree, I think my comment I made the other day to be true.

They rushed out these shipping notifications as soon as Apple announced the free cases as they were worried everyone would cancel their order....Especially as this case seems to be exactly the same as one of the free apple ones.

Go for the Belkin it's exactly the same as this case.

This seems highly likely... I've had people do this type of **** on eBay. Why? Because then a claim with Paypal is less likely to go in the buyer's favor.

As long as they have tracking, Paypal can make you wait even longer because a "tracking number was provided."

I hope you guys get your cases. Poor customer service and false hope through means such as this make me hate companies and their products. It's exactly why I wouldn't buy something from Ivyskin.

Ok reply from Ivyskin already, which to be honest wasn't too helpful and nothing we didn't know already

'Reply from Ivyskin:

It has clearly stated We’re in processing all orders for the Reception Case™ before July 26th and you should expect to receive the shipping notification email on or before that date. So basically the same they said to me, days ago

Yes Matthew

If I remember correctly there was a guy on here that live around the corner or something?
Can this person not knock on the door or try something,
Is there anyone in America that could possibly call USPS and find out what's happening!
Thanks

I got an email reply today from Ivyskin for a message sent on Friday. It said "if you don't get your case by FRIDAY 7/30 we will refund your SHIPPING CHARGES."

I had advised them that if I don't get it by WEDNESDAY I will contact PayPal. I called PayPal for information and they told me that you have to wait 14 days for something shipped by USPS before they will process a non-delivery claim.

I just got off the phone with the USPS Customer Service rep. He says that the vendor prints off the label and initiates the tracking number from USPS. He says that that package/label will likely not be scanned again until delivery. He agrees that having a tracking number is no guarantee at all that the package has even been handed off to the postal system - just that a label has been created. He says that after 5 business days we can ask the USPS to initiate an inquiry as to where the package is.

One thought that I had and I have no idea if this is true, but wouldn't IvySkin have had to pay for the shipping in order to initiate the shipping label?

My guess is that as others have stated they rushed to get this orders locked when the free case program started and there was a similar case available for free.

I would suggest that everyone start calling the company directly and ask where your case is.

Yes definitely will file a complaint on the BBB

I too encourage EVERYONE to do the same guys, enough is enough and I'm not wasting any more time!!!

Were in the UK and can't believe what a crap business this is :( I would loved to have phoned but the call rate would have been pretty high, I'm glad people in America are doing this for us and a big thanks to you :)

At least were 'sort of' getting somewhere!!

i emailed them this morning and this is what i got..............

If received shipping notification then the products has been shipped, Please allow 3-7 business days for delivery, shipping charges will be refunded if the item does not deliver by July 30th. We apologize for any inconveniences.

Best Regards
Tim

Isn't there some people on here that have waited longer than the initial 5 days? surely these peeps can now get the ball rolling and see what happens when they file against USPS ?
