Just a head up guys, it seems that there are delays with delivery 🙁 i've taken a day off university to wait in for my new iMac and was just sent this email:

27" with i7, 1Tb Fusion 680Mx
I'll be adding 32Gb RAM when it gets here.
Got an email Jan 29 (yes over 8 weeks) that it will be here in 5-7 business days.
Can't wait!
Hope I don't have any issues and those who have get a speedy resolution.

Mine was initially scheduled for delivery on the 6th, now that has changed to the 5th, so the opposite for me. Either way I won;t be in so i'll just have to arrange to collect it from the UPS depot.
What's more annoying is that they are still saying the 1st on there tracking page. Yet the email says "on or before 5th" now. I've checked the abroad tracking and its now with the courier.

Ordered a 3.4ghz i7, 1TB Fusion Drive with 680mx and 8GB of RAM on the 15th of January. Today it changed from processing to shipped, and my estimated delivery date is the 7th of February.
As long as all goes as planned, I'm pretty pleased with that timeline!

What? So All of the orders are having trouble in Anchorage? That's ********. I'm tracking FlightAware now (finally deciphered the system, which was new to me), and my iMac, I'm CERTAIN is on Flight 28 from Shanghai to Anchorage, then that flight goes to Memphis, TN. So hopefully there will be no issues. Maybe Apple knew of these delays (though I don't think they did) and that's why they've been upgrading people, well, some people, to Express Shipping (NOT ME!!!!!!!), which those shipments haven't been having any trouble, and they are getting delivered much earlier on top of that. I really don't know how Apple could have dropped the ball with shipped, seeing as how they ship SO many things per day.. "Requires Commercial Invoice" or whatever it says, means that Apple ****ed up. I believe. Any updates with people's shipments in Anchorage?

My iMac went to shipping status on the 30th, with a tracking number. It just this morning left China with a status of International shipment release - import. I'm not sure where the next stop is on the long journey to San Francisco, but I hope my Mac is enjoying a cocktail on the plane!
Fantastic - mine was ordered on the 16th evening so with any luck mine will change soon too.

Yea!!!! moved to preparing to ship. Got the awaiting payment on Tuesday but had to wait till today for that. Ordered Jan 11th and now the final stretch begins.

I ordered on Jan 15th. 3.4, 8GB, 680MX, SATA 1TB drive, wired keyboard and trackpad from Macmall.
I was told that configuration was set to arrive the end of this week (2/1/13)
Anyhow, it got a new date of Feb. 26th. Needless to say, I was a bit miffed.
So I contacted Macmall and they have almost the exact configuration in stock except it has 16GB of RAM and a magic mouse vs. a trackpad. The magic mouse isn't a big deal. I'm not crazy about them, but I had just ordered the trackpad to screw with it.
The ram is fine too since I had ordered 16GB from macsales and can add it to the 16GB already in the machine. Back when I ordered on Jan 15th, Macmall had a deal for half price ram, which is off the table now, but they did meet me half way. So I pulled the trigger and it will ship today. BTW, they have one more instock with this configuration
Not sure how I update the spreadsheet on that one. 🙂

Mine was shipped today, ordered at 14th of January. I cant track where the shipment is because I ordered Parallels alongside with the iMac, which is shipped from another location.

Just a heads up mine was scheduled to arrive yesterday by 4:30 PM. It got held up in Anchorage due to the whole illegible document thing. Now the new estimated date is 4/2/2013 but it's already on the fedex truck for delivery today. Keep up the hope 🙂
At least I'm not the only one then. I haven't been given a tracking number or even who the delivery compony are. I know that its in the country because the Expo tracking site says so. But I think its only been handed over the delivery compony (which ever that is for the UK) today.
Does anyone know if they deliver in the UK on a Saturday?

It's usually UPS. Saturday delivery no. Not unless specifically asked for which was unlikely
