January 27" iMac Orders! (Those ordered in January)

Belgium here as well.

Ordered on January the 30th. Still stuck on 3-4 weeks, expected between 26 Feb and 5 Mar.

Considering I'm without computer at the moment, I'm hoping the estimates will drop to 1-2 weeks soon :<


Edit: just changed to 4-6 weeks a minute ago. Between 11-22 Mar. FML.

I have exactly the same config as yours, order date also the 29th (after apple cancled my original one from the 15th, by "mistake") :(

Delivery times just went to 4-6 weeks on the Apple Store!
Mine is still on " order processing" , ordered on dec 5, 8 weeks now!
 
My order shipped for a few minutes ago.
Base 27" with 1TB Fusion Drive.
Ordered: January 16th
Preparing: February 2nd
Shipped: February 4th
Estimated delivery on or before: Monday, February 11th.

I hope it arrives on Friday, for I don't think TNT delivers on the weekends in Norway.

I wonder if that's anything to do with the holiday period people we realising about in China? Mine should be changing to shipping any day now (ordered 19th Jan). I would be climbing the walls if I ordered on 5th Dec!
 
By the time we get our iMacs, Apple will have released a revised iMac with new options. Mark my words.


If it wasn't for the fact that 3/4 of my software and hardware is Mac-only, I would cancel my order and swap to a cheaper Windows PC. Even if it's for only a year.
 
How is everybody tracking their orders once shipped? Mine's due to be delivered on the 4th but at present I only get an order reference number on Apple's order status page?

1-2 weeks was a little optimistic - even if mine arrives a week earlier than it was supposed to, that's still 3 weeks. My delivery estimate was 4-5 weeks.

But I would hope that it would at least stay as 3-4 rather than increasing for new orders...

Bad news. iMac stuck at Heathrow due to Customs paperwork

Ill spend my time looking at the single piece of paper that is my AppleCare that arrived this morning

I'm sure they are taunting me

Check which company is in care of your parcel. Go to their website and use the "tracking number" to track your parcel.
 
HOLY CRAP! Well, good news. Fedex gave me an estimated delivery date of February 6th, which is Wednesday. Well, after painfully tracking flights and FedEx it finally updated this morning after it departed Memphis last night. Which I thought it departed on a plane, but it mighy have gone by truck which explains it not updating till this morning at 5:30am. But it did make it from Orlando to the Melbourne facility at 8:30am, so it'll go out for delivery today. So really, the difference between express and standard shipping really is only one day. Instead of geyting it last saturday I get it today. Flipping cool ****!
 
DANGIT!!! FedEx is freaking teasing me! They just drove by! Im assuming to make deliveries in the interior of the neighborhood.. Im outside right now, waiting, and Im cold. I aint gunna let them say I werent home... lol
 
I order a BTO 27" from B&H on 1/21. I called last Monday and was told they should be receiving it in one week, so I just called back and was told that it has been shipped from Apple and they will be receiving it in the next few days. The rep told me it will be shipped to me by the end of the week!

I noticed they also have some other BTO iMacs available as in stock on their site now for those that are looking.

The iMac I ordered was:
i7 3.4GHz
8 GB Ram
3TB Fusion
680MX

If everything stays on track, I will be thrilled. I am glad I went through B&H due to what I saved on not having to pay tax, getting Parallels 8 for free and AppleCare for just $61 (plus free shipping).

Nope. I was inside my house, plugging in my UPS so it will be ready to use and conditioned/charged when my iMac arrives. I looked up and saw the FedEx truck drive by on my surveillance cameras, lol. I wish I was outside, I would have stood in front of the truck and made them stop. I really think they are either ****ing with me, or have other deliveries to get done first, like Priority deliveries. But if that's the case, what doesn't make sense at all, is why they didn't just stop, they were right in front of my house. It would have taken 3 seconds.. lol, oh well... I'm inside now. I'll see them pull up on my surveillance cameras, and at that point I will be making a mad dash for my front door. to intercept...

Almost congrats! Can you do me a favor...When you get it running, let us know what the noise level on you iMac is when running at idle in a quiet space. Thank you.
 
According to UPS mine was in Alaska on Thursday, and has been sitting in Kentucky (and I'm in Canada) with no movement since first thing Friday morning.

No updates in over 3 days now, not sure what's up and I don't see this "82 number" that others are referencing anywhere on my Apple order page, just the tracking link and my order number...
