JB not coming by end of this month

Wow you guys are so funny, I'm sorry your right guess all of you want a 1 click perfect noob JB. We'd all better wait a few months from when the JB was first available so we can have that perfect noob option. Where is the glory of real jailbreaks using terminal and 30 steps etc!?

In my mind releasing even an imperfect JB now would relieve pressure from the dev team, so they can take their time to perfect it. And those who would rather have a JB without App Store and FaceTime can update now, or could have updated a long time ago if it had been released.

The thing is, it doesn't matter what you think or what I think. The Dev Team has decided how they want to release it, and all we can do now is wait.

Don't know what happened, but they're feuding.

iH8sn0w shut down his site as a result of something saurik said or did. Real mature on both ends (not...).

EDIT: Seems all is good now between those two.
 
There really wasn't too much of a feud, Saurik did a radio interview and they asked if ih8sn0w was a legit source and sauirk said "No," which is correct.

People got mad because they thought he was saying ih8sn0w wasn't a legit jailbreaker (in which i dont know where he stands on that point), but saurik is right: He's not on the team, therefore he's not a legit source.

Dont see why people cant comprehend that (also from the screenshot from Dhlizard of MN saying the same thing).
So, @ih8sn0w says (and I believe) #pie was a joke. While he isn't an official news source, I do apologize for making him sound deceiving. :(

To be clear: @comex, @chronicdevteam and @iphone_dev are sources. @iH8sn0w has no knowledge of upcoming jailbreaks. (@_geohot is fake, btw.)

It's good to clear the air, but Saurik was still right on that statement.

@spochv no that part isn't legal at all..he's directly redistributing Apple's bootloader code. That will never be legal.

I would actually like to see him be a part of the Dev Team, and create a Windows version of Pwnage Tool, like Sn0wbreeze, just cleaned up and rebranded.

Ha, I would say I guessed it pretty well. Well, it was a given that Pwnage Tool would transition to Windows.

A new exploit will be used for the new Spirit, so I am assuming Pwnage Tool will utilize the same. So no, you won't need your 3.x.x SHSH blobs for the upcoming jailbreak tool(s).
 
from the messages I have read from them there will not be a pwnagetool as they only have a userland JB

Benflick I know this has nothing to do with this thread directly but I saw on an older post you were helping someone with carrier settings on a iphone for CBW. I have one and everything works except I cannot send SMS out to other networks only to CBW I can recieve sms and mms from all... 4.00 8g 3g jailbroke redsn0w unlocked ultrasnow PLEASE HELP ME!!!

If this gets released tomorrow or the day after, I don't see curiosity as the main side effect. A mass flood to Cydia, but most people that know what JB'ing is, already know why they want it. ;)
 
I don't see the Jailbreak coming until 4.1... Not when they are already on beta 2 for 4.1 and we know 4.1 has a new baseband.
