Exactly. If Apple can do that reasonably soon, I'll buy. Otherwise, I may see myself getting a comparable Windows 7 notebook (for much cheaper of course).
I'm not in dire need of a new notebook but something with enough power to run Source games at 1280 x 800 at Medium/High to show off would be nice.

I mentioned the Steam sale to some coworkers. I have them close to installing and buying some games already since they're amazed by the Christmas sale prices.

U guys might think that am taking this a step further but last night I had a dream, I dreamed I was in an Interview (may be cuz I need a job badly) and the interviewer pulled out a Tablet! I ask -s this the new Apple Tablet he said yes! then I ask can I touch it? He said NO! But I remember a feeling of enjoyment when i saw that tablet..wow I need to take a Break from mAcrumors...This coming tablet is HUGe,,,my calendar has two big events next year... tablet and Sex and the city 2!!

I'm throwing my hat into the ring with a texturizable multitouch surface (i.e. letters grow out of keyboard, lines rise up for buttons, etc.). That would be surprising indeed.

Relatively certain that modern battery technology does not currently support that kind of draw. However, there's always the chance Apple will reveal a new battery. ;)

I knew it! Testicular gestures. Sorry ladies, this one's strictly for the gents.

Sorry to tell you this, but testicular gestures were long ago patented in North Korea by Kim Jong Il or his father. Only the Iranian government has purchased the rights to the testicular gesturesn, and only when nuclear talks are being conducted.

All I know is that finally a "reality distortion field" can now be offered to the masses and is no longer the size of a U.S. presidential palace.

anyone remember...

anyone remember the Apple solar cell "within" the screen patent?
I wonder if that would make it into this device.

Don't flame but I am not sure why all the fuss about the tablet.

At least for me the I feel that I already have the iphone that is something small and portable that I can easily take anywhere and if I need more power then I have my MacBook Pro.

The tablet seems to be in between, but then why would I buy it?

Unless there is something about the tablet that I can't find anywhere else, I just do not see the value on it.
