Yes, I believe it's called poetic justice.
A prototype iPhone was lost in a bar, and now the iPhone itself is losing bars.

I totally agree with him. As soon as I realized that you just need to avoid touching the bottom, I adjusted the way I hold it. Just hold it a bit higher and your fine. Like he said, non-issue. Especially sine most of us are going to have bumpers or some other kind of case. I think that most of the people claiming that they are dropping calls because of it are trolls and shills anyway. Ya, it's a little annoying, but not that big of a deal. Of course all of "the usual suspects" are having a field day crying about it.
Nonsense. Most people are right handed and don't normally hold the whole phone in the palm of their hand. And the lefty's don't usually hold it that way either. Just takes a bit of adjusting if you do.
I still find this image highly amusing! For those that haven't seen it...

sure am serious. when people have an axe to grind they come on here...sign up...troll all over the place..and then go back to the cave. happens whenever something like this happens. give it time and people will learn this is NOT a big deal.
I had wondered the same thing. If this has always happened, but we're only noticing it more now because we're aware of the new antenna?
As if we needed more evidence that Jobs is an ******. Not only does he want to dictate the content we see or use, but now how we hold our phones. Goodbye Apple. Hello google.
Exactly, I don't know the word for it when someone complains about something when they realize it's there, but when it's been hidden under their noses for the last 2-3 years, they don't... I dunno. All I can say is if people are seriously thinking of sending their iPhone 4 back, all I have to say to you is... try to replicate the same thing on an older iPhone 3g or 3gs. I could be wrong, but I have seen iPhones in real life (mine+my mate's) and even videos which show the same problem in older iPhone models.![]()

i have fixed the issue on my own. I placed some electrical tape around the phone. Works fine now. Dont have to spend 30 for a bump
So, none of this was AT&T's fault?
paymaster said:As my 3GS also does this I was really hoping it was the new software. If this is really Apples final response this it is probably a good time to sell Apple stock if you have it. This will get out to the mainstream press, and between this and the controversy over flash and iAds and other app store issues, the government investigating, stories about Apple losing it's "cool" and so on I think you may see a major drop. There has always been Apple haters, but Apple is the big kid on the block now. It's inevitable that at some point there would be a backlash and this may be what kicks it into high gear. I bet Google is happy right now.
Or..... a software update comes out soon which solves the problem(or at least makes it better) and all is magical again.
