That's wonderful. I'm sure your parents are very proud of you.

Now back to something the world cares about...

Sounds like jealousy to me. Don't worry, if you work hard maybe you can get into a top tier university to. And, since I'm a tutor, I might even help you get there as I try to forget your adolescent comments.

Try Mac Daily News... The iPhone could be so screwed up that it wouldn't even power up and the users there would tell you it's the best phone in the world.

They're all a bunch of brainwashed drones like you. Why not "discuss how awesome it is" over there. I'm sure you'll fit right in!!

Brainwashed?

Am I the one who expects the device to have no bugs initially?

No, but most people expect it to work as a phone outside of an area that has utterly perfect reception, no matter how they're holding it.

Seriously, the people which claim "it doesn't matter if you drop 2 bars, as you'd still have left" seem to have forgotten that it isn't uncommon to have only 2 bars of signal...

Not sure I would want to be in a university that accepts students who fail at using the proper version of too. Good luck with your tutoring.

Nobody really cares. Lol.

It's the internet. You can be whoever you want :)

I work for R&D for Pfizer's International division and I graduated from Princeton top of my class. I make $285,000.00 a year not including bonuses.

Any questions?

It's not just people who are left handed. I am right handed, but I like to hold the phone in my left hand. And I cannot tell you how naturally when I pick up the phone that it is in the exact same position as all these dropped calls. It's just natural to me.

I would assume that almost all right-handed people hold phones in their left hand. It only makes sense to have your right hand free to make notes, operate heavy machinery, or whatever else you're doing at the time. As a right-hander I would feel distinctly uncomfortable holding a phone in my right hand.

I just spoke with an Apple Senior Advisor at tech support and he said their engineers are working on the issue and that he apologizes for the problem and Apple's previous statement. He said to keep my eyes peeled for a solution which he thinks will come soon and that holding it differently or having to buy a case is extremely unacceptable, so a real solution should be coming and they will make sure no customer is stuck with defects.

Lets hope this ends up being true.

And if it is true, Steve Jobs will be left standing with "non-issue" egg all over his face.

Just one: do you drive a Lambo, Ferrari, or an Aston? :D

Lol, I love it! :D

I dont know what to say, I am in shock.

Steve Jobs confirming this is a non-issue is probably the most fundamental mistake made by any company ever.

...

I don't know about that. While I feel that this is a pretty major screw up for Apple, I'd say there have been bigger mistakes by companies in recent history. BP and AIG come to mind, as do others.

Major News Issue

CNN's top headline right now: "Apple to iPhone critics: Your fault"

This issue has made the FRONT PAGE of the New York Times, Good Morning America and BBC-- not to mention THOUSANDS of other high-profile media outlets.

This is a huge problem. Apple has to make it right. Holding the phone correctly is a joke.

Yeah, he definitely will. Though he can take solace in the fact that they sold 1.5 million on launch day. haha

I think the fact his "Location" says "Pandora" speaks for itself.

Anyways, enough with derailing this thread. My iPhone 4 reception issue isn't getting any better. I'm curious to see if there will be a press release about this from Apple. It sure is getting some major attention from some heavy hitters.
