All the ones I've seen (mainly at Walgreens stores) are foam, so I would imagine these are recyclable/biodegradable, and that would be an improvement over the current ones.

I suppose the all the brown that’s going to end up on those will cause another run on the apple cleaning cloth.

Well, the only BAD thing is we didn't get a Jonny Ive video introduction of all the materials used, the process, and is input on the "chamfer edges 😄." I miss those Apple videos.

Every school kid and teacher in the country will probably buy one of these, and £2.49 is about the average price for a red nose. When I was a kid they were £1 but that was the 80’s lol. Thankfully Apple aren’t running comic relief the model you suggest would probably be their strategy lol.

A few years ago I was clearing out an old desk that had been been sitting in my parents' attic for the best part of 3 decades. Was horrified to find a jar full of old coins marked Comic Relief that I'd collected when around 8 years old.

I have a dim memory of child me missing the deadline to take the cash to the Post Office and my mum and I vowing to do so as soon as the appeal opened the following year. Clearly we never did. Must have forgotten about it.

Horrified by having that bad karma out in the world, I ran the numbers through an inflation calculator. You're right, a pound then then was worth 2.5-3 times more.

Took that total, added some interest and a healthy scoop of guilt money and made a donation. Hopefully now square with the Comic Relief gods.

Agreed man. If Ive was still at Apple, we would’ve never been graced with such bangers as the 2021 FatBook Pros, or the beloved Apple Watch Fatra, or the iBrick 14 Pro Max.
The new Macs have gotten a bit chonky, I'm still not sure it's an improvement.
