How is everyone's olive brown case holding up? I know it will show more wear than say black but I figured that would be a good thing (with regards to the brown color). I bought one at launch but decided to go with the silicone case. The lint issue is starting to bug me so I am contemplating going back to the leather one or having two cases. I honestly prefer the brown compared to the black but I am open to either color. I had a black apple leather case on my 5s.

Got my 6 black leather case. Nice and thin. Doesn't add much to the thinness of the phone. I had one for my 5s and it seemed like that one smelled of leather more than this one. I actually checked the box to make sure they hadn't sent the plastic one. The inside back is a smooth felt like material. Very nice. Of course it isn't worth the cost, but in for a penny in for a pound.

Agreed. he Apple leather case has no noticeable effect on the thickness or bulk of the phone and feels good in the hand. It is thick enough (and it would probably be impossible for a case not to be) to eliminate the unevenness caused by the projecting rear camera.

Does anyone have the red leather? I've heard (and seen at the Apple Store) it turns black with use in some spots. Anybody experience this?

Are these fairly easy to put on and remove from a 6+?

Very much so. I pop mine on and off all the time.

Guess it's a good thing I started off with the black one. :)

I had black silicone then black leather then red silicone now red leather. the Apple Store laughs when they see me coming.

Something I didn't notice until today is that the leather seems thinner over all around the phone than they silicone. Keeps the form of the phone better. And to me the leather feels nicer, goes in and out of the pocket easier and is actually grippier once it gets broken in. Also the red tone in the leather is much less organgy than in the silicone.

I had my red leather swapped yesterday for the midnight blue. The corners were turning dark. Now I hear the midnight blue turns black on the ends and toward the middle. I'll keep it until my vaja grip lp and rock case comes in.

Hmm well I guess we shall see how this turns out. Thanks for the reply.

Anyone tried to spray their case with Neverwet to waterproof it? Wonder if it turns it chalky.

Also does the zagg glass screen protectors fit with this case?

Yes. They fit beautifully. I had mine put on at Best Buy. They didn't even have to remove the phone from the case. It looks like the phone was made this way at the factory. Very professional.

For the 6 regular, the glass does not fit. It covers pretty far but there is an air gap around all four corners if perfectly aligned. I'm on my second zagg glass.

On the Plus there's no 'air gap' between the screen and the Zagg at any point. It lays flat to the screen. Maybe better fit cause there's more space to work with.

Thanks! Think I'll pick the Zagg tomorrow.

Great product, but it must be installed PERFECTLY or the sides will extend out and over the curvature of the screen edges. If you get the ZAGG unit from best buy...the $7 they charge for installation is money well spent.

Trust me.

Absolutely..And when they installed it the first one ended up with dust under it, so they just grabbed a fresh one off the rack to try again, this time getting it perfect. Had that happened while I was doing it myself I'd have had to buy another one and start all over. having them, do it is, in my opinion, the safest option.

For protection against water I just rub on some Obenauf's LP, which is what I use on all my other leather products (shoes, belt, wife's purse). Great stuff.

Getting a little concerned that only after 1 day of use there seems to be a traffic jam of dust up near the top lip of the phone on the midnight blue thats very noticeable.

I really love the feel of the case though and love the midnight blue/space gray combo.

Bought the Black and Olive Apple leather cases just to check them out but I think I'm in love now. Great grip, great protection, so luxurious, so thin.

I love the fact that it adds no perceptible bulk to the phone while still providing protection. And when I look at it from a sideways angle I can see that if placed or dropped on the screen side the case keeps the screen from making contact with surfaces, even with the Zagg tempered glass protector applied.

I had the black for my 5S. Would you recommend the brown over the black, or do you think the black is still the safest way to go?
