Nice to know a 50 year old senior vice president in the Manhattan corporate world has plenty of time to post on MR at 2 in the afternoon on a Monday. Monday's must be slow in your corporation.

And to think we just bailed his company out. This is why they've gone bankrupt once again!

The benefit of having several direct and indirect reports and the ability to type quickly.

That's nice, maybe in your free time you could work on your attitude instead.

I have no attitude, I'm just sharing my personal opinions like everyone else.

If it's okay for posters to opine about how they can't afford an iPhone it is okay for posters to opine about how they can. And in the case of this thread, we're talking about a $75 luxury item bought by a very specific type of customer for a very specific purpose. Don't hate me because I'm wealthy. I worked hard to get here.

While some of his opinions are expressed strongly, ultimately he's speaking about his experience with phone cases and I'm not seeing anything wrong with that. For some companies brown leather will look plenty professional, and for others black will be preferred.

And if you're trying to color coordinate your case with your outfit, and your outfit is black, you'll need a black case. I see nothing arrogant, elitist, or pretentious about those statements.

Well, one could simply purchase several cases to suit the occasion and the user's mood: I've got the Apple black leather, the Apple brown leather and the Apple red leather cases and I've also got the PowerSupport Air Jacket Clear for those times when I want to admire my iPhone 6 Plus's back...... I like having choices and picking something which reflects my mood or a particular occasion. And, no, I'm not wealthy, I'm living on a retirement income......

Today I am thankful for the fact that my brown leather case still looks great. It is showing some darkening on the sides where it contacts my hand the most, but it is very subtle so far, also no fraying or anything that I have seen some other people have.

I am also thankful for the option to ignore users.

Ah. Well you have be trumped in both age and power.

Express you opinions but don't be judgmental of others.

Anyone like you who places in their signature the price of their phones and that they have a trophy wife, is, well...

yep,ill be returning my leather case for a silicone case so it won't wear out at the camera lens hole.

I honestly think after looking at your picture that you just got a defective case. I have been using mine for over a week and there isn't even a hint of separation around the camera lens hole.

Still can't decide between the black or olive brown leather case for the space grey iPhone 6. Any tips / opinions?

Black is basically the best choice if you're worried about stuffings and wear since it will show the least amount. Brown can show more wear over time but some people like that. Personally I think the black is too boring so I went with brown for my gold 6.

Returned my second soft pink case today after use of roughly one week. Dye on the edges was coming off. Shame the quality is not as good as the customer services. Going naked for now.

Mind posting a handful of photos via Imgur? would like to see how the dark brown looks after a bit of use.

...the midnight blue version is pretty robust as well but probably will look cr@p on the gold iPhones! Had mine on for 2 weeks now (space gray iPhone 6) and has absolutely no wear and tear whatsoever, and actually looks black in certain light.

I had my red leather swapped yesterday for the midnight blue. The corners were turning dark. Now I hear the midnight blue turns black on the ends and toward the middle. I'll keep it until my vaja grip lp and rock case comes in.

I looked at the Vaja Grip cases and I kind of like it, but I noticed two things: (1) it is way more open (especially over the buttons) than Apple's leather case and (2) they place a corporate emblem on the lower center part of the case by the opening at the bottom. Is that metal? Won't that rub on the iPhone?

Thank you, Supermallet.

I returned my Brown case to the Apple Store today, was quite a relief to get it out of my house. While I was there, I was able to pick up and touch a Silicone Apple case and, again, am thrilled that I went with the Leather as it just feels better in the hand, the silicone was rather slippery and will be a dust magnet. Apple did a great job with the Leather case.
