Yea but the Red/Black color combo is better, if I was gonna use a blue or black case, I would've gone with the white iPhone.

Agree that red with black looks good, but black or blue leather with black face looks awesome, very stealthy looking. I don't think white with black/blue looks that good:confused:

Honestly if they had a white one I'd love it with the space gray. A family member has a space gray with the white silicone case and the color combo is sweet. I dunno, I just prefer contrasting colors, although you're right, stealth mode can also look very nice!

Just wondering those with the Apple leather case, since bottom is exposed will the bottom get scratched easily?

Well maybe If you drop it, otherwise I don't see how it would get scratched unless you are careless with it or stuff it in pockets with other stuff in them:eek:

I put mine in a pocket with keys and other items. It still hasn't gotten scratched on the bottom.

Just purchased my Olive brown leather case for my iPhone 6+

Must say love the feel of the leather.

Only worried that this will get stained over time rather than wear as good as normal leather.

Has anyones case been 'broken' in yet?

Sure. Had mine since launch day. The oils on your skin will turn it a dark chocolate brown all over. It will start with the edges and then bleed to the center. Handle it in the center to help it along.

It looks great. Still smooth feeling.

Note. Even you try a 'protective' leather finish, that will darken it the same. It's the nature of aniline raw leather. In essence your skin oils are protecting the case. Your skin oils protect/ waterproof your skin, and it is doing the same to the leather.

It's not just dirt, but what happens when you wet or oil natural untreated leather which Apples Analine is.

It's only a problem if you wanted to keep the original color.

For anyone having issues with the power button not working as nice as the volume rockers here is how I fixed mine. I cut a very small piece of a business card (little thicker than paper), small enough were it would lay inside the power button punch out, then put the case back on being careful not to shift the paper. Problem solved now the power button has the same clicky feel as the volume rockers. I tried two layers of business card (by folding it in half) but it was too thick. Hope it works for you. I'm in love with the case again.

There is a better way. With the case off use something with a blunt point. I used a rounded pen cap. Work the volume buttons and power button. Push them in and out from inside and out. They will soften up quickly. Works like a charm.

Posted in another thread but figured I'd share it here as well.

I am on my second soft pink leather case and am hoping Apple will exchange it for a silicon one (or perhaps a dark leather one?). The dye constantly peels off within a week of usage. Avoid.

This works awesome! Thanks for the great idea.

Thinking to buy the black leather case
How is it holding up, 3 months in? I use my phone a lot..

Quite frankly, the black leather case is the only color that holds up at all. The rest look like dirty cheap/fake leather cases fairly quick.

pics? i would have thought with black, it would stay the same colour for ever.

It does. My iPhone 5S and iPhone 6 Plus black case doesn't show any signs of the changes I am sure it has going on with the leather. it is the only color that doesn't.

Here are some pictures. Not sure if you'll be able to see the discoloration clearly with pictures, but if you were to actually see it you would be able to tell that the dye is starting to come off in certain areas.

Still loving my iPhone 6+ leather case - dropped it 3.5 onto concrete - hit the corner - did a lot of damage to case but it has since healed itself nicely.

Discolorations will vary according to the user as well. Some hand oils are benign while others are as acidic as the blood in Aliens.
