With a sleeve, putting away is care free. You get the protection similar to a folio, but without the front flap to deal with when using the phone or taking a pic. It's also slimmer than a folio in hand or pocket. Plus, having the iPhone leather case is a snap to remove and put back on, so it's easy to see the appeal of rocking both.

I don't think so. Been using them for years so it's like second nature for me at this point. It's not for everyone but it doesn't bother me.

The only time it's aggravating is when I'm drivin and I get unexpected call after call after call. When I'm at home and work I lay the phone on top of the Sena leather sleeve on my desk or counter. Only sees the pouch when it goes in my pocket. Love it.

I was using my Midnight Blue Leather Case on my 6 Plus up until about 2 weeks ago when I switched to a Spigen case. I switched back because the Spigen case was a bit too bulky for my liking (since this is a big phone I am a bit more sensitive about the size of the case in my hand).

Word of caution, do NOT store your leather case in the original box if you used it for a decent amount of time. I used mine for about 3 months before I put it away, and when I went back to use it, it had a funky odor that I didn't care for at all. After about a day of use the case is back to normal. Still weird though.

Anyway, I have not treated case with anything really, and when I first took it out of the box I could see the wear marks in the center and edges of the case. They have dissipated also, but I can still kinda see them in the right light. It doesn't bother me much though, this is what leather is supposed to do. Had I gotten a lighter color I would have flipped.

The case handled a lot could probably benefit from a cleaning with a leather product. I find my black leather Apple case surface gets reactive. Mine almost had hives of some sort and then settled down. Before, my leather appeared painted on, it was that smooth. But pores and figuring remained after the episode of hives when the case had gotten spots of fruit juice on the back and then hit with eyeglass spray to try and clean off the sticky, shiny spots. The tiny raised dots that I referred to as hives settled down, but remaining for a while was an abraded-looking spot my thumb was rolling over to try smoothing it down. Since, I've used a leather cleaner / lotion on it. It really improved the appearance and restored a lot of its look when new. These cases could be dry out of box and starved for moisture, for all I know.

Thats interesting, mine (brown) has also developed this hives problem you talk about. Will have to give eyeglass spray a shot.

Eyeglass spray might have contributed to the problem, not solved it. I had the spray on hand after seeing the dried juice spots.

Ah i misread that. I developed the same problem with my case on a stick surface I've pressed it down but i can still feel it, i guess its a matter of time, not sure it worth me buying the leather cleaner. At least i know there is a partial solution.

Have your button covers broken in yet?

My red case has not broken in much after months of use.

I had a blue case that broke in after 1 week, and button presses were extremely responsive. This red case is still not responsive at all.

I remember the blue case had a much larger button cover, whereas the red one is much smaller.

No button cover have broken and nothing has worn in a bad way which is exactly what I wanted to happen. There aren't any garish marks or rips or anything like that.

I think the original poster meant broken in, not broken. Broken in is a good thing.

Others have stated on this board that if the Apple leather case for iPhone 6 gets a little bit wet in some way, the moistened portions of leather raises up and dimples, later to settle down; but the prior raised part remains visibly different than the unaffected and smooth leather that surrounds it.

I like a the case! got the silicone version though.

The only thing iffy is that exposed bottom. Has Anyone drop it it yet and got any damage to the expose area?

Nope. I wouldn't worry about damaging the bottom. Any kind of drop would be protected by the corners being raised on both sides and the back of the device.

I've seen posts here where people got dings on the bottom with the apple case on. One in particular the user's device fell between the seats in the car.

So corner drops yes, but if the bottom hits flat on the corner of a counter or a table or something like the metal rails under a car seat it's going to blemish the device.

After reading many opinions about how much people love this case, I also went and bought the midnight blue for the 6. Looks and feels really good. My only question is that....even though the case is on properly, I noticed the two bottom corners sort of "stick out" a little bit. The outside edges of the case...

Anyone else notice this when first using their case? I think maybe it has to break in first? I've had it on probably for like twenty minutes.

No, it is defective. My first one was like that. Take it back and get another. I bought two more (different colors) when I took mine back for the ends flaring out, and none of the three had the issue.

To be honest, if you're going to worry about every possible scenario of how an iPhone can fall or drop then my suggestion is get an Otterbox.

Went back and swapped it for a black one. This one is a keeper. Fits perfect and the Apple logo is crispier. The corners are ok now.

I can see why this thing cost so much. This case is pretty damn nice. Not sticky like the silicone version yet gives a decent amount of grip.
