Will we be able to add our existing @me accounts to the iCloud settings page in Settings?

iCloud settings is only showing me my gmail account I have set up as my Apple ID, but when I click on Accounts in iCloud settings, it's just giving me option to Create a new @me account when I already have one.

I have my @me MobileMe account configured in Mail, yet for some reason, its not letting me add it as an iCloud login,

Is this because its a beta? or will we be forced to create new @me accounts for the iCloud?

I've had problems syncing music from iTunes 10.5.

I can sync some music fine, but then it randomly gives up the ghost and decides to say that some audio files cannot be found (usually, this is most of the audio files), even though my iTunes Library is consolidated and all file paths are correct and unbroken.
Then, it decides to re-sync all these unsynced music items, but classify them as 'Other', rather than 'Music', meaning they can't be played or even accessed from iPhone (which is iPhone 4, by the way!).
Then it decides it would like to re-sync all the music that had originally been synced perfectly, converting them to file type 'Other'.

All in all, this means I can't sync any music to my iPhone, because it just fails. All the music that can't be synced/is classified as 'Other can't then be deleted from the phone from within iTunes because iTunes doesn't recognise it as being synced in the first place, leaving me with GBs and GBs of space taken up by 'Other' on my iPhone which has to be completely wiped and restored to regain the space.

Anyone else experienced this?

no contacts

restored to 5.0, synced/backuped my phone on itunes everything was fine. set up the icloud and did a back up and now all my contacts are gone.. anyone else see this??

in "about" it says I have 13 photo's but I have none loaded on my iPhone.

also in the camera roll each image shows the same photo preview as the last photo taken - when opened shows the real image.

anyone else?

i think it's dumb that when you add a photo from the camera roll to an album it leaves that photo in the camera roll too and if you delete it from the camera roll it deletes it from the album.

I'm wondering how that's going to work as well.

Hahaha. Good to hear!

I'm slightly biased against the Facebook app as it's always run like crap for me and everyone I know. #Badcoding

Totally agree the FB app is absolutely pathetic for the amount of capital and coders they have.

I scanned through this thread and couldn't find an answer to a question that has been bothering me since the wwdc...

Will there be a way to move the bluetooth toggle (or any other settings toggle), to the homescreen? I know it is a minor thing, but it annoys me that I have to make 4 clicks to turn the thing on and off when I want.

Thanks.

i dont think such a feature has been announced if true.

Is there an ability to search through ALL your text messages?

Right now it only scans through the most recent ones which sucks when you've got a lot of texts.

AH! So you're on Rogers Wireless such as myself.

GSM standards allow for SMS delivery reports ... all you need to do is send an sms with 3 #1's in front of your message like this:
"111Hi I'm testing SMS delivery report".

^ you CANNOT do this on Rogers Wireless since they removed ALL sorts of GSM SMS & Dialing protocol standards! Rogers did this with their OWN network shortly after launching GSM back in Summer 2000 beta and officially Nov 1st (issues and pulled launch until late afternoon Nov 2nd). I know this because I actually TESTED this with a free phone while working there. Fido allowed for these standing protocols - especially those featured on Steve Punter's site (the grandfather of cellular geek findings). There is a LOT listed there but I doubt even European providers follow these standards as they can always invoke users to call the provider from their cell phone incuring use of their monthly daytime minute pool and further rates for enabling services which should by definition be FREE.

Not entirely correct. I don't know if this works on Rogers but it works on Fido...

The short code changed from 111 to *!# and then to just !

So, enter the number

Then in the body of your text put an exclamation mark (!) then a space ( ) and then the body of your text and you will get a delivery report

-Not implemented
-Not implemented
-Ability to change your SMS tone, but currently you are not able to. You can't select from any of the custom ringtones you have selected either.
-Not implemented as far as I can see either

Thank you very much for checking. Much appreciated.

Too bad some of the features I wanted are still missing but then again Apple took quite a lot of items off my wish list and there is always iOS 6 :D

Good Call! I wish they would put the Wifi Toggle on there.

I was actually hoping they would make it a widget and put it in the notifications pull down.

Like this. Obviously we don't need the silent or vibration switch so maybe orientation lock and something else...

I have two questions:

Can we now password protect our Mail app from snooping eyes?

And

Does the Reminders app have the option of making an event repeating, like to pay phone bill and repeat every 30 days?

Thanks

Has anyone noticed their phone is now running much more slowly and has worse battery life? I have the Verizon iPhone and I have noticed screen switches, app loading, and games are randomly pretty hitchy. Also, I started out at a 95% charge about 4 hours ago, and I am already down to 15%! I may have to go back to IOS 4.2.8 if this keeps up!

reminders can be set to repeat every day, every week, every 2 weeks, every month, and every year.

Downloaded and installed OS5 on my iphone 4 last night. So far I really like it.

One question about notifications: It will list new mail from my yahoo account but not from my gmail or exchange account.

Also how do you bring up notifications on the lockscreen?

Thanks

Thank you.

What about adding mp3s to your Music app? Let say you have an mp3 downloaded in some app, can you press on it and hold to "add to Music app". This may require developer actions, but you may be able to check this in an Apple app like Mail.

I'm trying to use the iTunes Sync feature but the Sync Now button is greyed out, meaning I can't perform a sync. Is there a reason for this?!

No unfortunately.

Yes it does. Though if it didn't you can always add something like that to the calendar and set reminders on the event (make it all day). But yes, Reminders have lots of options. It's a very full featured app from what I've seen.
