Just ordered from ATT 6/20/09, what was the overall delivery time?

Ordered mine on the 22nd through Apple's website...Scheduled for Monday the 29th delivery, but FEDEX shows it on the truck for delivery this a.m.! I hope it comes, it would be a great surprise!

Did you order online? or through a rep? I ordered my through a rep on wednesday as well and I'm still processing (I also have to pick mine up at the ATT store)
 
So I picked up my iPhone 3G S at the AT&T store today after direct fulfillment and was a little mad. The guy had trouble activating it so it took around 25 minutes and then when I apparently wasn't looking he took the iPhone out and ripped off the plastic around it and threw it out. Now I know it's not a big deal but when I sell my iPhone I keep it in perfect shape and then sell it with the plastic on it to give the new buyer a sense of purchasing a mint conditioned unit. So other then that it went fine.
 
I ordered a 16gb Black 3GS online from ATT on 6/20 in the afternoon(est time). Still just "In Progress", ugh.
 
About 24 hours ago my 22nd order went off backordered and within the past 10 minutes, I got the shipping code. Now to wait until Monday. Give it to USPS and let them deliver it tomorrow, I don't need Fedex :p. I would have to wait at my office for it though..... :rolleyes:
 
Nope ordered mine through AT&T. I have no idea how it happened. I'll post a screen shot when I get home to prove it. 2 day turnaround was amazing.

I'm sure that's not necessary - why would you lie about it? It is just surprising and strange how they are doing the shipping. I wonder if it must be regional, and your region had a shorter waiting lsit than others. Because there are people here who order the same item 2 or 3 days before you and it hasn't shipped yet...
 
I wonder if its worth just canceling now and just going into an Apple store to pick one up tonight? Anyone have any opinions on this? Any horror stories trying to cancel from ATT online?

Well if they haven't charged your account, then you *should* be able to cancel without a problem. Do Apple stores have any significant stock left?
 
The Apple store availability went up on the website and the local ones near me say they are in stock

Grr, that's really testing my patience... to wait on shipping, when there is one less than a mile away in the store.
 
I ordered from AT&T website on 6/21. And, the status still shows "In Progress." When I ordered it, though, I got a message saying it would take between 7-14 days. So, I have like a week to go before I expect mine.
