Uhh it's in the FAQ itself of the reservation page. Just go there once you reserve it. So they have a phone for you and you can pay however you want for it. Carrier contract,next/up,IUP , full price whatever.

7+ are pretty widely available in NYC for upgrade program pick-ups. I've been watching the Verizon ones all weekend. 5th ave just sold out of Black 128 but it's been available since Friday.

I saw, but someone else had said that supposedly carrier financing wasn't an option when picking up for T-Mobile so I'm just trying to make sure it is an option and I won't head out there and end up with no phone.

This is what I'm guessing too.
I reserved one under the iPhone upgrade (because it didn't give any other options) but paid in full WAS available at check out in store
Just picked up a 128GB 7+ AT&T from the Apple store! Westfield UTC in La Jolla. Had to wait in line for about 30 minutes, but I got it!
it's not when doing online. You might want to go to tmo instead of apple store or just call apple store up .
Thanks, yea I've been calling stores hoping I'll get lucky and find one but haven't had any luck yet. I'm hoping since it seems Apple it starting to get stock maybe the stores will start to soon too.
Why not just buy full price. It's so much better. If you change phones every 12 months, buying full price and selling is so much more financially savvy than using one of those carrier programs or IUP.
And buying full with a decent credit card means you get an extra year worth of warranty too.
What's the difference? I could always pay the remaining balance in 12 months. It isn't like you get a discount for paying up front.
I just ordered pre ordered online for a reserve and pickup through the site listed on this thread https://reserve-us.apple.com/US/en_US/reserve/iPhone?execution=e2s2 but when trying to find my reservation on apple website it said it did not exist. Called apple rep and he said it did not exist and that this was an apple test site. Though I got an email, with pickup info for reservation. Problem is it's by my parents house so I don't want to waste their time if it reservation doesn't exist. Thoughts?
The difference is that 32.xx/12 months is much more expensive than buying it for 650+Tax and selling it for 500 after 12 months just before a new iPhone is out.
I have been doing it since years and I have never paid more than 160-200 out of pocket to get a new . I just sell my old one on craigslist add 160-200 to it and buy a new. It ends up costing me 15-18/mo vs 32-38 you guys pay for IUP.
And a credit inquiry is not worth it if you are going to pay it off within a few months anyways.
But it's not more expensive. It's exactly the same price. And carrier finance doesn't check your credit.
I was able to reserve a 128 GB Black 7 Plus (AT&T) online this morning a little after 9 am. I had one in order that was supposed to arrive in the beginning of October, so I wasn't sure how it would pan out since I didn't want to cancel my order in case the reservation was a bust, but everything went through fine. I just have to cancel my web order now.

I clicked both links and they look the same to me? And yes you are correct, you can get the phone without registering for IUP. When you go through the process you do not enter any info that allows them to enroll you in IUP, merely make a reservation to pick up the phone.
I hurried over after because I didn't pay for it so I figure it's not a guarantee.
The apple employee walked through with me and I had the option to do IUP, but I could also do installments, carrier financing or pay in full. I'm in the US.
Awesome! Okay, wow. Thing is, I was looking at that link earlier today and seriously thought I had to do IUP. Pluses around my area are out for today, so it looks like I'm going to stay up late tonight at 12:01 and see if I can snag a 7 Plus for my brother tomorrow.

The other quote I quoted you in with the two link, both works. I used those. The one here doesn't...I wouldn't worry about the IUP, u can still buy your brothers at full price or with other financing

You are asked account info if you ORDER online. There is no info required if you reserve and pick up.
For T-Mobile you can use carrier financing as long as you go buy it in the Apple Store. For some reason T-Mobile customers still can't do it online through Apple.
