Just looked in NC. Found a 7+ in 32gb and 256gb sizes but none in 128gb. That looks like the sweet spot for most people. I could live with a 32gb but I doubt it once I load it up. My current 64gb is only half full... Oh well.

Why are people saying that 8am is also a good time to look?
Can we look at the carrier stores and see if they got any?

does anyone know how accurate or guaranteed these reservations are? I reserved one for 10am, but I'm wondering what if someone beats me to the door and they ask for the same size and model i want? Will they tell them no because its reserved or can they just sell it to them?

also, if i reserve another one for a different time...do i have to go at that exact time or can i go earlier? kind of confusing as these are in high demand but not too sure if reservations actually do anything?

Once you reserve it and you get an e-mail saying "Your iPhone is reserved", it means they have an iPhone for you.Be on time and Check in with the "specialist" using the barcode in your email.

I'd really appreciate some feedback on this, just reserved a phone that verizon had failed me on, but ordered through them because I still have to pay off 50% of my current phone to upgrade and send it in. Does anyone know if that transaction is possible at the Apple store?

thanks! I'm just worried because I've read some stories where people went at the time they had reserved but some how they were already sold out!

Ok reserved a mb 128gb Verizon 7 plus at an Apple Store an hour away... just hope they let me do the Verizon edge carrier finance and not be like what you're not doing the apple iPhone upgrade program and turn me away lol... now I just need to cancel my Verizon pre order for the same device that's supposed to ship 10/5... hope it all goes good

they will let you do it. It's in the email you got from Apple that you can change payment method. If they refuse just show it to them.

Reserved a Black 7+ 128 GB yesterday online and picked it up within 2 hrs. There were people in the reserve line ahead of me (about 4) and 2 of them were purchasing the same phone. I was afraid I wasn't going to get mine; however, I did. I guess when you reserve it, Apple sets one aside for each person. This way you're not wasting your time in the line with a reservation and when its your turn you may not receive a phone.

You folks down there are fighting each other. I have 3 Apple stores just 30 minutes from me besides countless others in NJ so a much better chance than what you folks have down there. You are talking about the Christiana Mall store I presume.

Correct. To add to the problem, we have a ton of Chinese resellers who are probably getting 80% of what becomes available. I could easily drive up to King of Prussia or over to NJ and get one today but then I'd be paying sales tax on top of it.

Edit: Just to add, I already have my black plus from a preorder, now just trying to get a rose gold 7 for a friend. Christiana had a bunch of plusses available at 12:01 but no regular 7.

anyone get a 7+ reserved in DC, Maryland, or Virginia Apple stores?

I only seen like 1-2 gold 7+ but no matte black or JB.

Keep checking, they are out there. Obviously color and storage size are limited but a Plus could be had.

Don't just check at 12 and 8. They randomly become available throughout the day. I reserved mine around 4pm on a weekday.
