Good point. Although IMO going from a 4" Form Factor to 5" could be a deal breaker for the SE users. They tend to be extremely focused on the 4" Form. The SE still sells in huge volume and is a Cash Cow for Apple. We also see the demand for the 4.7' 8 not developing. Is it from people wanting bigger phones, or not upgrading? It's a tough call for Timmy.![]()
Hola! SE owner here after having a regular iPhone 6 and missing my 4s. It's less the 4" form factor I like-- as the 3.5" iPhone 4s was actually better in hand than my SE-- it's the one handedness. I'd love to see an iPhone with the X design, but an inch and change shorter. This would result in an iPhone very nearly the same size as the original, only maybe slightly wider, and definitely flatter- with edge to edge design the thing would be eminently one-hand usable, but would have an even larger display than the 4" on the SE. So yes, definitely bring on the smaller models. These giant phones are getting out of hand (hey-ohh!)
