Honestly I didn‘t expect improving shipping dates only resulted from increased production quantity. Yet I doubt that iPhone X will be the highest selling iPhone ever. Let alone nearly all companies I know avoid to provide it as a corporate phone and instead only offer iPhone 8/Plus. But I‘m curious once we get some official statement from Apple as well.

What a rat race... When you step outside of it for just a moment, it seems so ridiculous that we’re talking about pushing a bunch a components together at an ever-increasing rate just to have that made obsolete, which starts the cycle over again. Meanwhile, yes, some people are working ridiculous hours to make it possible. Man, life is so weird - or at least the version we’ve made for ourselves.

Ain't that the truth.
:(

Or, maybe just maybe sales are all down because demand for iPhone 8 was so poor and no iPhone X plus version exsists offering no modern upgrade path for plus users.

Sorry but Apple knew the iPhone 8 would fall flat and the x is next years model pushed up.

It’s arrogance to say great sales when everyone can transparently see a near catastrophe if the iPhone hadn’t have launched and that we’re missing models in the line up too!

I have owned every iphone since the 4S.
I can tell you now, the next phone i buy will be a 8+, not an X

You really can't go wrong with either. I own the iPhone X and love it. Its what every iPhone is going to be like moving forward so I was eager to try it out. Ive owned just about every iPhone right up to the 6 plus. Kept that one 3 years.

The iPhone X lives up to the expectations and then some, just my two cents. And I don't have any issues criticizing Apple lol

Its not really a big issues when you are actually holding the phone watching media. Ive said it over and over the notch blends in. Its easy to post a photo of a video at a spot where the notch is most noticeable and say eww what an ugly notch.

But in real life usage it blends in, well to me anyway.

I truly hate this/these analyst(s) who are always making up their own production stories when it comes to Apple. How come they don't come down on Tesla's production statistics like they do Apple? Tesla is always delivering cars late and missing by a huge number. None of those investors seem to really care as they keep putting more money into Tesla. Why are Apple investors so finicky if iPhone production hits a speed bump? Apple customers are loyal and they'll wait.

Now that this grand information about ramped-up iPhone X production has been released, let's see if Apple's share price suddenly jumps along with it if investors were so concerned about Apple not being able to sell enough iPhone X units to meet their expectations for the holiday season. Investors shouldn't be hung up on just one quarter if they're truly backing a company's business. All businesses have ups and downs and that should be taken into consideration. If the iPhone X is truly a great product, consumers are going to buy it even if it is a bit late coming to market.

Apple honestly seems to be a good company when it comes to ramping-up production on most of their products. I sure don't trust Kuo's information because I believe he's working for the hedge fund investors who are trying to ruin companies with their greed. I would never base my investment on a quarter-to-quarter sales basis. I always give a company at least a year to prove themselves as a worthy investment. All of Kuo's BS only proves he really doesn't have an accurate handle on Apple's production numbers. Tim Cook always says to ignore supply chain chatter and that includes Kuo's guess-work.

Of course, because that was true at the time. Yields have apparently ramped better than expected, and now he is relaying that information. So why the snark towards him...?
[doublepost=1511597356][/doublepost]

He doesn't release them to the public, but they do always "get out".

So, why not constant leakage of supply chain information for other companies' products? Why is it only just Apple? Have you seen any constant information on how many PS4 Pros or Surface Books or Samsung Galaxy S8 units are being pumped out every couple of weeks? I can tell you that I've looked long and hard and those numbers will be impossible to find. You'll never find out how many Amazon Echo units are being produced every week. All these minute supply chain details are only being aimed at Apple for reasons I think are highly suspect.

It doesn't blend in, you make a conscious decision to ignore it; fine for you.

When Apple announced earnings for Q4 their estimate for Q1 was on the high side. We’ll never know if there really were issues that Apple was able to resolve or if all this chatter and noise was garbage. Don Melton (who used to run the Safari team at Apple) was recently on a podcast with Rene Ritchie. He said all these stories of last minute changes with the X were horse manure and this stuff was locked down a long time ago. I don’t think 2017 will go down as a banner year for the rumor mill (not counting the firmware leaks).

Interesting. My assumption had been that delivery times improved so fast due to inaccurate reporting in the beginning and low demand due to pricing.

Yes, but to be fair, if you're going to be watching Dunkirk on anything smaller than [insert Chris Nolan's Minimum requirement here] you're already into damage limitation.

Personally, I think it's a bother that the notch couldn't have been designed differently, mainly for the reasons you and others are alluding to, and I tell myself that this is why I haven't ordered an iPhone X. I'm one of those people who actually wouldn't have minded a bezel.

In actuality the reason is that I can't afford to spend £1000 + on one. That said, if I were in the market for an iPhone (I'm not - I've just had my 7 replaced for a new one because the battery was over heating) I'd probably get a 7 Plus on account of it being pretty much identical to the 8 inside and out, and skip the X until they can sort out the design.

This is great news. The average joe will want to play with it in store and then walk out with it. Unless there is enough supply for that only early adaptors and enthusiasts (like me) will get it.
Because the avge joe doesn't get it that Ming is Apple's ventriloquist that quacks out everything that may get more credibility than from Tim himself.

They're going to make almost 90 Billion this quarter, so obviously they're doomed and don't know what they're doing...
The rest of your rant is incoherent, step up and deliver a better one.
