Yes we do . I referred to the iPhone 4 incident , it's well documented .

And apples secrecy is a fact - with plenty of factual examples of employees getting fired who slipped up .

Owwww and this is a "rumours" site.... thanks for policing facts ;)
No we don't.

You believe apple of 2009 is the same as apple of 2018?

I don't. So you can't assume what apple did either way. There is no information to suggest they either tried to shut it down or didn't try to shut it down.

You are welcome to your opinion of this matter though.:D

I knew he would not disappoint and say something like this. I mean we all know it is cause orders have been cancelled and the price was to high. I just have to wait a few more weeks for the next analyst to go not a supper cycle

This isn't a report from Apple themselves. (Where you're right, a certain amount of spin would be expected.) This is from a third party who tracks supply chain to find out what is happening "on the ground"... Most importantly, this guy is actually pretty decently accurate. His info is good most of the time.
Except for him saying that supply will be short until Q1 2018. I wouldn’t consider 2-3 week lead times as short supply which has been the average wait. I’m still happy though because it seems like Apple has done a much better job this launch on Supply.

No, it blends in. Others have said the same. Do you own one?
It only "blends in" if you are watching older Academy ratio videos (the pillarboxing hides the notch), or, if you're watching movies with a lot of outer space scenes or darkly lit scenes.

But to claim that a black patch "blends in" is simply not possible. A person's brain can compensate so that it isn't as noticeable to them as it was in the beginning, but that is different than "blending in".

I find it interesting that some of the people who are defending the notch as not being distracting were some who wanted Apple to produce 16:9 aspect ratio iPhones and iPads because they found letterboxing distracting. (That's a general observation, not directed at you.)

I have been telling you guys this for weeks.

Btw, Apple retailers were sold out of X at the end of yesterday and are fully restocked as of this morning. There hasn't been a day in almost 20 days where they haven't been sold out after having stock when the day started.

I guarantee Apple pushed hard to have good stock Thanksgiving weekend.

$87B meant cook knew production for this quarter was going to be just fine. And it is...probably even better than this report indicates. I doubt they had significant issues at all.

I love how the ones who are knocking the phone don’t even own one lol.
That doesn't make sense. So people shouldn't be discerning and do their research but should buy a product because it is not possible to make an informed decision before buying it?

And what would be the response to those who DO buy the iPhone X and dislike it, "well, you should've done your research before buying it."?:D

At 6am every morning the Apple "in store pickup" inventory is refreshed, so most days you'll see phones available for in store pickup if you check early AM. Within a few hours or less they sell out each day. At least this has been the pattern in southern CA area since we have a lot of Apple Stores within a 20 to 40 mile radius.

I was able to get my X the day after launch with no lines by following this method (and cancel my pre-order that never shipped).

You only half quoted me. Some knock the phone and haven’t even seen one in person or used one.

If you want to be that kinda person and judge something only by photos and YouTube clips have fun with that lol

The notch is just so damn ugly. It's a total deal breaker for me.
Without exaggeration, it is the ugliest and dumbest design element on any modern smartphone.
I will never buy a phone with an asymmetrical notch that ruins video playback.
I has this awry dream last night about that notch growing even bigger, protruding the front screen and being fed with a charging plug from behind...

Apple return rates are absurdly low. Won't be any different for the X. Reviews for people that own it are extremely positive.

It's a resounding success...get over it.

I keep seeing posts about delivery times improving, but mine still shows a delivery estimate of Dec 11-18. I ordered the Space Grey 256GB model from AT&T on Nov 12. Seeing posts from people confirming improved delivery times, and even people having received them already. Are the Improved Delivery Times for the 64GB Models only? Or just not for the Space Grey 256GB Models? Are these improved Delivery Times only when ordering from Apple and not from AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, or T-Mobile?

Except he got this one completely wrong along with the other analysts who claimed that there would be severe shortages until Q1 or even Q2 of 2018.

Apple said not to trust the supply chain and clearly Tim and company were on top of things but all of these guys rushing to make a name for themselves on back of the most popular product in the world threw a lot of false info out there and I’m sure a lot of retail investors were hurt by selling too early.
