I just wanna cry when I see bigger and bigger phones. FFS, not everyone has huge arms and wants huge phone. Even the current X has crazy big screen. Give me size of 8 screen in smaller form and I'll be super happy. Let the rest have plus sizes etc.

Not everyone wants phablet ffs!

Dual SIM iPhone...

Not having to carry two phones would be life changing! Please, please let this be true!!

Everytime I see that pic in this article I wish that the 6.1 size had an OLED display with a higher resolution. I think the 6.5 is just a tad bit too big to my taste. Then again if the 6.5 is smaller than a Note 8 and more inline with the size of an Galaxy s8+ then that would be acceptable.

It takes two years to get any significant innovation in iPhones, that’s why I mainly bought the S models.
Apple doesn’t really expect regular people to buy a new phone every year, that’s for the tech-obsessed and newness-addicted, for whom the iPhone Upgrade Program was created.
And only a subset of those. I'm pretty tech-obsessed, but I upgraded every other year and have had my iPhone 6+ for over 3 years. I'm getting the iPhone X, and if I'm a little jealous of the people who get next year's model, I'll just have to get over it, won't I?

When I see that photo with the three different iPhone sizes rumored for next year, I wonder why they aren't making an iPhone SE X. Besides the provocative and unlikely name, I'd love a device that is only a little wider than the SE but with a full frontal ~4.7" display. Price it at $800 if you have to, I don't care! Another option would be to take exact same 4.7" display ratio from the iPhone 7, but with rounded corners. So it's wider than the SE but not taller yet still 16:9 and OLED.

Also, has anyone asked how they would get LCD into that form factor? I thought you needed flexible OLED to do the corners properly.

iPhone SE X
iPhone SEX

I see what you did there.

You always can buy the next year phone outright.

That 6.5 iPhone in the photo absolutely trumps the 5.8. I know it's a render, but that's what I really look forward to, is the 6.5 OLED in Fall 2018.
I second but if only the 6.5 has 512 GB and / or significant advantages / power and ram, compared to 5.8. If the 6.5 has only a big screen advantage, then it is not a big deal.

Whether it is next year's iPhone or the following, I do believe Apple will work to get rid of the infamous notch. So I think those mockups are off. Why? Apple's always been about hiding the real technology. Making it seem "magic." And Ive has always said a smooth uninterrupted pane on glass on a phone is "incredibly beautiful."

It's not important whether you like the notch or not, it's more important to Apple that technology be invisible to the casual eye. Right now the notch glares right at you as a necessary piece for the tech to work so they'll get rid of it soon.

Maybe they'll just ship an empty box and claim they not only eliminated the notch but made the phone so thin you can't even see or feel it... but it's there... for the low, low, low price of only $1999.

Electron microscope accessory to use it sold separately.

Camera, battery, case, screen accessories also (all) sold separately.

That....that...that word Dual SIM if it ever happens in iPhone X Plus, that would be the end of Android mobile for me!! Awesome

I have waited for this feature for ten years! I have an iPhone X 256GB on Verizon. Problem is I travel internationally; so I bought a dual-sim Galaxy S8 just for traveling. I have to pay for a separate service provider with GSM here in USA for the first SIM as Verizon doesn’t work with the GSM S8. And if I take the SIM out of my iPhone I lose the iMessages coming in internationally via WiFi.

A dual-SIM iPhone would rock my world and solve my problems and save me money!!! Bring it on!!!

They're all huge. Is it too much to ask for a normal HAND held sized phone?

Don’t worry a small number of people are going to be disappointed when they see Apple make a smaller version of the iPhone X next year and not a larger one. I keep telling people on the forums here the iPhone X is a direct replacement for the plus sized models. The plus iPhones screen is marginally bigger and has no lasting benifit. The user base for a phone with a screen size much larger than the iPhone X is so small, it’s not worth it for Apple to make it.

Man I wish that the OLED 6.5 I phone X would have released this year along side of the 5.8 I phone x good thing I have the I phone every year plan I miss the size of my 7plus
I hear ya. I didn’t upgrade because of this. 7 Plus screen is better than the small IPhone-x screen. I am ready to ditch the home button though!

One of my complaints, that Apple did not release a flagship device with the iPhone X. Where was the gigabit LTE modem that other smartphones have? Oh yeah, it's not really a FLAGSHIP device despite what apple claims, otherwise it would have had it. There are a few things the iphone X should’ve had but didn't.

I'm waiting for the integrated, display based TouchID rumor. FaceID is a step back IMO.

The reason why you have to "keep telling people" is because what you're saying doesn't make any sense and no one is listening (rightfully so)

One thing is for sure, you aren't basing this "theory" on sales figures, which begs the question... What are you basing it on? Your own opinion?
