There is a new design, but they called it the Ultra and made it 899 €.I want a new design but everything seems to be pointing to 2025 not 24.

Unless you work for Apple directly on the iPhone, there is nothing to prove. Apple clarified already it’s the apps. You realise both can be true? We don’t know anything for certain… yet.
It’s vicious circle isn’t it. If manufacturers don’t continually add new “innovations” and/or features to their products they are castigated for being boring and stale (see any MacRumors comment section for verification). But adding more and more features just makes the thing more complicated and more prone to issues because of the ‘innovation’. It’s a lose/lose, damed if you do, damed if you don’t proposition for manufacturers. And it all boils down to the fickleness and unhappiness of the buying public.
And competition has little or nothing to do with it as survey after survey shows very little “switching” going on between platforms on both sides, especially in the mobile device market.
This feature partially exists via Family Setup; the family group admin can activate an Apple watch and assign it to a member of their family group who does not have a companion iPhone. It still requires the admin to have an iPhone for setup, but it means each member of a family group does not need their own iPhone to use an Apple Watch. How to boost Apple Watch sales:
• No iPhone dependency. Ideally, standalone, although it coild have Mac dependency.
Not exactly making me pull the trigger on my first Apple Watch either. I want one, but I keep putting it off waiting for significant improvements, but it feels pretty stagnant. Glucose monitoring would be huge, but I feel like the battery life still needs to be a lot better. For one thing, you can't really use it for sleep monitoring because when are you going to charge it?
i'm still rocking my S6, i believe is gonna be my first and last AW.Booooring. I have a 7 and honestly couldn't even tell you the differences between it and the 9 series, but I guarantee it isn't much.
Gah. My S5’s battery life is awful now. I’d hoped I’d only have to eke it out for another year.
To be fair, your first Apple Watch is a significant improvement over not having one.Not exactly making me pull the trigger on my first Apple Watch either. I think this is the thing many people miss, especially with the newer gen watches (I want to say starting with s7?) that charge much faster over the USB c cable. I want to say I get nearly 50% just during my shower and morning routine. I am sure there are fringe cases where this isn't enough, however I suspect it fits well into most people's lives.Of course you can use it for sleep monitoring. Plenty of people do, and that’s a feature built into Apple Health. Just charge it during some other time. Having a shower, eating dinner, doing some work. I always track my sleep.
I agree with your first point. What would be the benefit of reading QR-Codes on the watch? What would you want to do on the small watch screen after scanning the QR code? Would the lens be under the screen or something? How to boost Apple Watch sales:

• 12 MP camera to read QR-codes and more.
• Safari as standard visible application (not hidden as now is).
The new Apple Watches would be a huge upgrade for you. Always on display, additional sensors and increased memory. In fact Apple should have ended support for the AWS4 this year and gone for a more ambitious OS for thw Watch. The S4 is holding back the Apple Watch OS.I'm still holding onto a Series 4 and refused to update this year after yet another pathetic showing from Apple + the Gurman rumor that they're going to change the bands next year.
You say that as though major hardware and in particular health hardware features are casually placed on schedule.I don’t mind waiting until 2025 if it means a new form factor and blood glucose monitor. That would be a killer watch. Although I’m worried of course that Apple wouldn’t release both those features at once so as to make you upgrade the following year, too
That makes no sense at all. Sitting on an innovative new feature would just give the competition a hand.I don’t mind waiting until 2025 if it means a new form factor and blood glucose monitor.
