Going back to my iPhone 7+ feels like visiting a museum. Just picking up your device and, you know, looking at it, is the most natural and unobtrusive biometric ever created. I’d never go back.
If the S10 turns out to be a hit (and still costs over $1K) then the argument that iPhone sales are down because of high prices goes out the door - and the next logical conclusion is....
Working in an industry where I often have gloves on, or cooking or whatever that makes your hands messy, it's been SO nice to not have to rely on fingerprint. I love Face ID.
Actually you’re wrong. I’ve had every iPhone with Touch ID for the exception of the SE versions and the iPhone 8. I’ve had the iPhone X and XS Max. I could tell you without a doubt, Face ID is more convenient and easier to use than Touch ID. Also the notch is almost invisible, what I mean by that is you only notice it when you think about it.
Yeah but those article are only about South Korea and Samsung already said that those estimates presented on Phonearena are wrong and their S10 sales in South Korea are bigger in comparison to the S9 when it was launched. It's hard to pick who believe who's right; phone arena shows first day sales for the s10 lower then the s9, and zdnet says its higher than the s9 by 20%.

It's not in the box, you have to buy it separately(for the latest iphones at least).Still with the headphone jack?
Apple includes a wired pair for no charge. BT works fine. There is an adapter if you really need it.
Anyway, for me---not an issue, but to each their own I suppose.
you said it yourself. How is the s10 innovative? The only innovative thing that could be said is the finger print reader and the hole in the screen.
Yes,to any phone that doesn't deliver, doesn't impress, isn't worth the price tag,and lags behind competition. As far as sales tanking that could apply to any phone
In OR you should have gloves which makes fingerprint useless anyway, and oh...in an OR please leave your phone off!
Because the S10 is a compelling phone. This is one thing I can never understand about a Galaxy release. I realize it’s not or normally is not as packed or big as an iPhone release (at least in the earlier days), but everyone and there granny knows within 60 days these phones will already have great discounts... Why not wait???
Face ID cumbersome? Either you haven’t tried it or had an unlucky experience the one time you did try it. It’s the smoothest way by far to unlock the iPhone and I was a complete sceptic when it was released. Having both would be great thoughThe finger print sensor wins the day in my book... enough for me to actually be considering switching from my current 6s Plus.
I'm not a fan of Face ID on any device and Apples take on the technology is cumbersome.
Well sorry about the "supposed tone", but the thing is, in between cases you remove the mask anyway as they are disposable.Maybe people that work in them need to check their phones between cases. Not trying to be rude, but the tone of your post seems pompous.
we are talking specifically about S10,not Galaxy phones in general.LOL, what is innovative about the Galaxy phones?
the Xr is more expensive than iPhone 7 Plus..(launch prices).of course the XR costs less than the 8 Plus did when it was released
and what you made think I'm an android fanboy LOL can't you see my signature?Meanwhile, of course Android fanboys didn't have any problems with the Pixel's single rear camera which they absolutely creamed over.
Silly, silly comment.

The whole issue with Apples implementation is that you still have to swipe to get into the phone. This makes the In Screen FPS the better option as it is more versatile.Face ID cumbersome? No way I am giving up my iPhone any time soon, but Samsung pre-order shipments on the increase and iPhone sales on the decrease … does not sound good.
my iPhone Xs during pre order (with ofcourse no free goodies or real discounts to be found): €1159
my S10 pre ordered a week ago with a nice discount and sold my free Samsung Buds, at the end I paid: €619
so that's a difference of more than €500 (and double the storage)
It's not that hard to see the absolute greed to money Apple has. Every company has it ofcourse, but Apple is King is being greedy for money.
Selling a plastic clear case for the iPhone Xr for $45 which costs about $0.90 to make is ofcourse the ultimate example of Apples greed to money and not the greed for customer experience anymore.

One doesn't require any form of biometric recognition with Android when driving. You should not be touching your phone when you are driving, so your argument for Touch ID over Face ID is a non-starter. Sorry friend.
Yeah, I also use this feature all the time. It's extremely convenient. One doesn't require any form of biometric recognition with Android when driving.
Android has a feature that a allows one's phone to remain unlocked in a safe environment. e. g. Car's Bluetooth
