This is ********. It would be illegal. It has to come with everything that keeps it working or it won't be deemed fit for purpose. Consumer Rights Act 2005. In the UK at least.
Well, if the rumours have any weight to them, Apple is in the process of eventually dropping the charging port from the iPhone altogether, so it makes little sense to transition to USB-C for a year or two.
People need to calm down this is just a rumor Kuo guy is never 100% correct. There are bigger issue in this world like a freaking virus that won’t go away.
I'd be surprised if the charger was not included. Especially when it came the first time Apple buyers. If I was a first timer and they told me no charger I'd have to walk away. You can not continue to nickle and dime people. Those charging blocks cost Apple virtually nothing to have made. I have blocks but for the price I pay for my iPhones I expect the charger. Correct me if I'm thinking wrong.
if you sell your old iPhones, buyers usually like to have their adapters with it. Pay more get less
thats Good if you like bending over as a customer. Most of us like to get our money’s worth from a purchase. You pay over 1k for these things and they want to take out the charger to increase the margin by a few dollars. BS
They’d be better served with an optional “I don’t need it” checkbox and then donate the chargers that people opt out of.

I have no issues with not including a charger at all when there are still a few USB charging sitting in my iPhone boxes along with earbuds I haven't used. I use a wireless charger or my Mac/PC to charge my phone at home or in the office.
Wonder how many people will actually NOT buy an iPhone 12 and switch to an Android phone because Apple doesn't include a charger......

I doubt North America has enough people qualified to make them in the volume Apple needs.

Naw. The press will promote the iPhone 12 by claiming doesn't have one, and people will go to stores and ask if that's true. And everyone with tech experience will remind them they already have one so it's not an issue. And the people will go 'oh, yeah, I guess that's true.' And then they will buy them.

I think it makes perfect sense. There are like trillion iPhone charges out in the wild. I personally have like 10 in my house (minus 3 wireless pads) and excluding god knows how many at work.
