Hopefully they will. If they are planning to add 120hz display and upgrade sensors on iPhone 13 range it pretty much sounds like what iPhone 12 series should have been.

I would quess that the whole line gets iPhone 12 pro max sensor for the main camera. It seems that Apple uses a similar sensor for a couple of years before upgrading it.

Though pressure from competition might always make them upgrade sensors faster.

The missing stuff from this year will might make this one the one to get, especially if you're coming from an Xr or 11.

Then again, that might be the time Apple gets rid of the bottom port and goes MagSafe (and Qi) only.

There is ALWAYS a tradeoff when waiting/upgrading.

And then again, who cares? As it is, I think those that REALLY care just upgrade every year. Own nothing, lease everything. ;)
 
Just bought a pro max and I hope it’ll last me a long time just like my 6s plus has

I was naive to think I could skip all the generations with the notch.

Must haves for me if anyone at Apple is taking note

-Touch ID SOMEWHERE
-no camera bump, make the backside flush and use that extra space for a bigger battery
-faster refresh rate
-notch pls no
-3D touch pls apl

I mean, it’s not even a big deal masks. Face ID is very smart.

Just use a smaller password. I have a 4 digit pin never had an issue. You use 15 digits? I can’t tell if you’re having a laugh.

Yea didn’t realized that the ultra wide didn't have autofocus - I don’t know if this what makes the image so soft

I don’t care about improvements on camera and processor that happen every year by default.
Just get rid of that obnoxious notch and re-introduce the touch ID under the screen!

If your passcode is 15 characters you have bigger problems than taking off your mask.

you do know that you can set your phone to lock and wipe after 10 unsuccessful attempts right?
 
Glad to hear the Display Sizes will remain the same !

Also, the new Thread Format is way cool ! ... much better than before !

I have the 11 Pro Max and I been thinking to skip this year in favor of next year, I really want to start keeping my iPhones for at least 2 years. I been getting them every year and I just don't see a reason to keep doing that. The big selling point is 5G, which isn't everywhere yet. I do like how they look though.
