Is this the bronze and jet black guy?? Lol ok buddy.
look all the techy people are getting the 14 anyway as long as it gives out the awesome upgrades apple always seems to.
taking with a pinch of salt, but if true keen for that camera not caring about the notch.

If you can put face-id sensors under the display, you can put the camera under the display too. The front camera does not need to be as high tech as the rear camera

13 hasn’t even hit yet and this clown starts making wanton claims and speculations about next years phone.

it’s borderline embarrassing.

a wise proverb once said “better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt”

kuo should heed that advice.

tbh, that looks worse than a "notch" (and the notch doesn't bother me). The notch at least looks contiguous with the edges of the phone / bezel, whereas the "hole punch" just looks, well, like someone shot a hole through your screen.
The fact it doesn’t interrupt the shape of the screen is why I like the hole punch design. It’s way easier for the camera to look like another icon in the status bar than accepting a weirdly shaped screen with ears on the sides, to me

Finally. Why do we have always to be years behind Android??? By 2024 they will probably have removed the hole (1 manufacturer already did this year) and we will have to wait years probably before they do so on the iPhone.

lol when competitors shows up with under the screen front camera, Apple comes with good ol' punch hole.
Can't innovate anymore my ass!

The camera upgrade sounds nice, although I though some of the early rumors said that the 13 lineup would be getting the 48 MP sensor.

I find it hard to believe that Apple would shrink the notch this year just to remove it next year. I don't see the notch going away until Apple can hide everything behind the screen.

Because they never had Face ID to take care of, and the quality of under screen cameras right now is awful. Pretty simple.

But with the twist, face id will be under the display, do u really think apple is that dumb to just put hole punch like 90% of other shitphones? 🤣🤣😀

Remember 48mp main camera would be needed for 8K video recording so this goes with that Rumour.

...
Even fewer consumers looking to pre-order the mini. No wonder Apple will delete the 5.4" model next year.
The demand for a high-end (high-price) phone with smaller size is probably really not THAT high (I guess it's still high compared to other brands, just not for Apple), especially not in two consecutive years.
I still think there's a place for smaller phones, but an iPhone SE which adopts the new design would probably be fine for most people.

Hole is hole, FaceID under the screen does not make it better.
They were so stupid to not release TouchID inside on/off button this year, like iPads Air have.
FaceID sucks since Covid, and Covid is here to stay, FaceID will always suck, except they include a Mask with a QR-Code printed on it.

FaceID sucks since Covid.

A) do it does not. works great with my apple watch.

B) rumors say the new face ID would understand and unlock a person with a mask.

Problem solved.

He doesn’t know. He‘s just spitballing but knows every time he vomits out a ‘research note’ all the rumor sites and Twitter will publish it.
