I’m all for redesign but I doubt they’ll move away from flat-edge aesthetic as they’re just moving other devices to flat-edge. I do like the role that design language plays in unifying their products.I think we will get a redesign.
iPhone 12/13/14 all look roughly the same, just as X/XS/11 did. Apple seems to run on a 3 year design cycle now as opposed to the 2 year cycle for the first iPhone decade.
I’m hoping we go back to rounded sides, makes the iPhone easier to hold.
The iPhone X remains the best-looking, best-feeling iPhone ever created.I think we will get a redesign.

i agree it's useless because i never use it to turn it silent. i don't get how people can use their phone on silent. i'm not constantly looking at my phone so will miss messages/notifications/calls.Can we also get rid of the ringer switch? Mine hasn’t come off silent in years. And now with focus modes it’s not really needed.
I mean technically sure, but how often are you really pressing these buttons? I doubt the impact will be notable at all.battery will take a hit.
I use the volume buttons all the time when streaming music to my HomePod.A bit more juice to run the Taptic feedback effects when fully powered up, but I don’t think volume and power buttons are a heavy use item anyway.
I know if a call is coming in by vibration/Apple watch/notification on my Mac. A call these days is just another notification. I usually never answer calls I don't know the number or not expecting. Simple as that.so how is this meant to work with cases?

... turning off the display *and* to silent incoming robo/spam calls or calls I don't want to or can't take at the momentUh, the power button? That’s used significantly throughout my day to turn off the display.
Uh, you just made me spit out my soda. Go out in public and count how many flashlights are on without users realizing it and get back to us.I had non-technical relations complain they would activate 3D Touch accidentally. A long-press is more intuitive because it cannot be pressed accidentally. Therefore it is to most users a much more deliberate control method and overall a better UX design.
Exactly. Sounds like an "Ultra" feature. The benefits of this is good. The Three Taptic Engines could only be reserved for iPhone 15 Ultra.
We don’t even know if it’s true. It’s fine to speculate, but let’s not assume anything Kuo says will actually happen. They forgot about people who wear gloves. Oops.![]()
1. 😂😂😂The real reason for this change is to needlessly increase the price of the iPhone 15 Pro models, probably by $100. You can't add two taptic engines and expect the price to stay the same.
YES, I was so happy when it first showed I wanted it! So cool looking. The iPhone X remains the best-looking, best-feeling iPhone ever created.
Glossy glass back and stainless sides with rounded glass to perfectly rounded steel. Felt amazing and looked amazing and extremely premium.
Your argument backs up my point. The less buttons that can activated accidentally.Uh, you just made me spit out my soda. Go out in public and count how many flashlights are on without users realizing it and get back to us.
