One rear camera, Touch ID, LCD screen instead of OLED, under 5” screen, and upgraded internals. That’s all I’m interested in. Oh, and a reasonable price of course.

Because the silent majority of price sensitive SE buyers far outnumbers the small form factor crowd.

Consumers were attracted by the $399 price tag in 2016. They will be attracted by the $399 price tag in 2020.

I honestly think some of you are waiting for this phone.

I don't understand how anyone uses a phone so small. The 11 Pro Max doesn't feel "too big" in the absolute slightest bit to me. It's crazy.

Hopefully the different antenna design makes up for the Intel modem that Apple will most likely use. Although the Intel modem shouldn’t be an issue as the 11 Pros that are sporting the Intel modems seemed to have rectified the past issues.

If it is not the same size as SE and similar in size as a 8 then it should be named 8S. I can’t see it being named 9 since 11 is already out. I am still waiting to see which modem it will come with and so far the pricing is looking good.

Some of you keep harping about the name. Give it a rest already and focus on something meaningful.

What's important for people who liked the SE's form factor is...it's form factor. Despite your protestations the fact this phone might be called an "SE 2" likely means we'll never see the original SE form factor, which is what makes the name meaningful to focus on.

$399 is really cheap for an iPhone. I think I paid $349 for the very first model shortly after it was released and it was hacked to run on T-Mobile.

I see no reason for them to call it se2, and not just follow recent tradition of adding a X to the end of the name.. Seems totally sensible, and I can’t think of a single reason why they wouldn’t

It is very likely this will be the phone I will get when I replace my iPhone 7. I am completely happy with the screen size and phone size, but I would like the faster processor, more RAM, wireless charging, and better camera. And if the price actually is $399, that more in line with that I am willing to pay to replace my phone, especially with something brand new.

At this point iPhone SE 2 is a clickbait.

SE today is viewed as a small phone first, then cheap. What's expected to be released is a cheap phone, Apple needs in their lineup. I need small. Macrumors labeling it SE 2 is misleading.
