Gimme a break here! The 13's haven't even been delivered and this crystal ball jockey is already spewing what & what not the 14's will have. Right! Things can & might change over a year. 🤔

For this year my dog was better at predicting than Kuo, Gurman etc. together.

Instead of investing millions of dollars on under Screen tech they could just take the power button TouchID part from the iPad Air and iPad mini. Cost: $5. Time to implement: 2 weeks.
Rewrite the authentication algorithm:

If (face visible) use FaceID
Else if (mask on) use TouchID
Else fail login

This would be amazing, but perhaps they cannot physically squeeze it in yet? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Who cares about 14? Old news. I want rumors about the iPhone 15.

Let me start: Better graphics, better camera, better processor than iPhone 14.

Stay tuned for more :)

Said it on the other article, will say it again: Yesterday it was Gurman, today it’s Kuo… I wonder if we can actually trust these “leakers” anymore.

All the comments about adding touchID to the power button .... I'm guessing they won't due to cases. 99% cover up the power button.

I doubt this is the reason, it probably just does not fit in, considering how crammed the iPhone insides are already?

This so called "Kuo analyst" has a track record like the old 33/45 records. While I enjoy Apple products, the competition phone manufacturers have had built in display finger print readers, under display cameras, foldable phones, etc for at least a year or more. And, the cost of those devices are usually lower than Apples.

The loud minority wins again, until Apple realizes only a handful of people are clamoring for this, then discontinues it and finally moves on from it...

I don’t think Touch ID is coming back to iPhones.
Back to? It’s still in iPhones, the SE has it, and Apple’s definitely been investing in fingerprint auth because they just released the new external mac keyboard with touchID, and the power button version is in both last years iPad Air and this years just announced ipad mini…..

If Apple is truly considering a foldable then I'd expect it to solve some of the issues with the current foldables such as the crease you can see and feel when they're fully opened. That's really my main rationale for not buying one (beyond needing to switch to Android which is my actual #1 reason).

Kuo, or anyone else outside Cupertino, won't know until release. They start these "rumors" just as clickbait to make money. They do NOT know. They are guessing - just like the rest of us.
