Well, that went left. We went from a possible date of October 29th to late 2020. Lol. Damn near a year later. That’s iPhone 12 release quarter.
The last MacBook Pro to feature scissor switches was released in 2015
I bet it will eventually go to non-pro 12" and 14", and pro 14" and 16". Or possibly even all three sizes in both categories, but I doubt that.I bet the 13” Pro will move to 14” and the Air will be the only 13” MacBook they sell.
The specs look pretty “pro” to me.Please make "Pro", Pro again.
It sucks ass to type on. That's all the issue I need.Guess why not sooner? Because it’s not the issue the pitchforkers here will say it is.

The article header implies the MacBook is next year but the MacBook Pro 16" is still unknown and there's still a few days left in October.
Right, a lot of people can't read.
Did anyone really think Apple was going to release a 16" model without an event? Why on earth would anyone think that? They are going to want to talk about the screen and how great it is, along with the redesigned keyboard and updated specs. I just don't see how anyone would think that Apple would release newly designed MacBook Pro without an announcement, it makes absolutely zero sense.
I agree that but Airpods Pro announced without an event so yeah...

This 16” MBP will be part of the 5th generation together with a brand new 13”/14”. I don’t believe it was delayed at all as some claim. It was always going to launch in 2020 exactly 4 years after the launch of the 4th generation.
I don’t believe it was ever going to be an additional option. If anything Apple will drop the price of the 2019 15” to $1999 and sell the 16” for $2399-2499.
So there will be just the 13" and 16". Looks the same but the !6" will most likely start at $3k for the base model.
I really wish we could just get a 17".
I miss those days we could also get the matte version.
Your 2013 and my 2011.RIP. I will have to hold onto my 2013 mbp even longer.
