Do not hang your jacket on the back of your gamer chair or leave the chair in a reclined position. My chair swung around and the zipper scratched my screen. Not too bad but easy to avoid now that I realize my own error!

Just completed my order for 1 (one) unit via CC

I will order another if the 1st one meets expectations (low-bar, I know: I've been running three Dell P2715Q's for most of the past decade).

Really appreciate the details, feedback and observations shared here.

ClickClack or Alibaba?

You sometimes wonder how people survived reading the newspaper in broadsheet ... 😅

I'm in a Space (prob. not that dissimilar to others' Experience) where I am faced with moving from 13cmx6cm to ["other"] to 2X 59.5cm x 33.6cm displays on the daily.

I distinctly remember the advantage of reading broadsheet when I commuted via D.C. Metro in the 90's . . . a very simple, understandable (albeit not grounded) way to help ensure the sanctity of one's boundaries ;)

Neal Stephenson would probably be casting shadow on this psot, but I'm fully aware that we have (at least!) a few decades to go before we can snob such things ;)

hi guys, trying to understand the best way to buy this: Clickclack or Alibaba? If ordering from Alibaba, will we get a 20% VAT charge? Ordering from ClickClack you avoid this. I would prefer buying from Alibaba for additional payment protection. Can anyone share a bit more info about the steps of buying via Alibaba? thank you

Who is “we”? To which target country are you referring to?

On Alibaba and VAT, see the previous answer to your question last week: #308

What do you want know about it, beyond what was provided earlier?

The main thing on Alibaba is to make sure you are buying from Kuycon:

Free shipping only applies to your first order.

I don’t remember if any of the UK buyers here have used Click Clack, so I’m not sure we know what happens with regard to VAT. The assumption is that it is included in the price + shipping, but I’m not sure if anyone has confirmed that. You could ask Click Clack.

UK based and I ordered from Alibaba/Kuycon direct. As mentioned previously the total cost comparison between Kuycon and CC works out about the same. The only difference is the Alibaba/Kuycon route offers faster shipping. I was charged £95.10 by FedEx for duty and tax when it arrived in the UK. Kuycon offered me free shipping but that didn't include the duty and tax charged by FedEx.

hey guys. ordered via Alibaba. Kuycon team was great – offered free shipping. Was a bit confusing because I was buying via a UK Business, but I don't have a VAT number. Monitor will replace a 27" iMac and I'll be using it with a M4 MacBook Pro. Will post some updates when I get it.

My order replaced a 27” iMac also. I’ve found it a great upgrade.
The thing is, if Apple released a 27in iMac now I would definitely buy it. But can 't really manage with a 24in or pay £1,300 for an Apple Studio that uses almost the same panel as my current iMac. Let's see how this goes – really curious about the difference from a 27in to 32in. I might have to buy a wider desk to allow a comfortable viewing distance :)

Yes I had exactly the same thoughts. Would have been happy with a 27” iMac upgrade and 24” is a no go. I think you’ll enjoy the 32” upgrade. The size is only a little bigger than the 27” iMac because the bezel is smaller and there’s no ‘chin’.

If you ordered the Kuycon via Alibaba a few days ago, how quickly did you receive an update that your monitor was being shipped, or is it still too early?

ordered yesterday – took a bit to get all the details and payment setup. I would recommend using Paypal for this – less fees and safer.

I'm waiting for the update on the dispatch and tracking info. The delivery date I got was the 12 of September but can update when I find more.

Shipping via FedEX asserted via email 3 Sept 2025

I have no real timelines for receipt, nor expectations of such.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a PC/Mac soundbar for the Kuycon G32P?
I've been on a similar search. I really can't find anything that looks decent (in my opinion) and has decent specs. I'm thinking of going for a pair of small desktop speakers instead. I know the sound won't be audiophile but at lest there'll be reasonable audio separation. The current frontrunners are the Kanto YU2. They have USD audio so can connect directly to my Mac Studio and I'll avoid any potential bluetooth audio delay issues. Would be interested in any other suggestions also.

When it arrives, I’ll be happy to answer the questions. I have mac mini m4 pro and LG 40wp95

"HDR feature"

max brightness 500 nits.

OOOO KKKKKK.... doesn't even meet HDR600 which is barely HDR.
I would retire my Dell UP2715K (5K) if I ordered the Kuycon G32P. My Dell (a good 10 years old) only had 350 nits, and I never even needed that maximum brightness because the monitor was always too bright for me. I reduced the brightness to 40% in the Dell settings.

I realize that HDR is about more than just brightness, but for those who are concerned that the Kuycon might be too dark: I don't think it will be too dark... quite the opposite, in fact ;)

Don't dispute its probably better than your DELL from 2015, but listing HDR as a feature is a fair bit of a stretch, and nothing like the 1600 nits on the ProDisplay XDR, Macbook Pro or iPad Pro displays...
