Lags since iOS26

Is this normal? While screen recording, I noticed lags when swiping down the control center. Also lagging when I want to send a video with Whatsapp and before sending using the control center.
In general, the phone feels much slower and here and there lags.

Not sure what I’m seeing in your video; I don’t tend to ping-pong between those screens on my own 15 Pro Max or my wife’s 15 Pro. Just playing with it here, I’m not seeing any significant difference from your video but I’m not noticing any “lag” either.

Especially at the beginning it freezes. The whole animation just stopped. It always happens. Yes I know I don’t ping pong too but for the test

Here we can see when Shazam application is used there is an instant lack while scrolling and also instant leg while using the control center. This is not normal.

Your right. In low power mode there is some lag in the control center when it’s pinged pinged up and down. However with low power mode off and reduce frame rate disabled, the lag disappears.

When you are doing screen recording with iOS, it decreases total frame-rate but also masks the dropped frames you are seeing in the process. So what you are seeing in realtime may not actually convey on video. It looks “fine” (or okayish) because framerate is consistent, and there’s no reference anymore.
