I do. I burned around 100 CD and DVDs in the past month.
I'm considering a mac mini to go along with my MacBook but I won't get one without a DVD burner.
Wishful thinkingCould it be that Andy Inahtko's Twitter posting about his top-secretest Apple news of the year that he found out might be this? He said he hasn't even seen a rumor about it. That may be correct if you're talking about the last couple of weeks gearing up for Macworld. How little we remember. How could we have for gotten this?

Wishful thinking
But that photo never looked convincing to me. And I doubt very much that new iPhones are coming, especially seeing as all current iPhone 3G users cannot upgrade this time (subsidised phones in contract).
You're forgetting that Apple is an American company! Amercians don't really do MMS and I bet you that Apple doesn't even really know what that is. Yes, email is better, but how many UK phone users (apart from iPhone and Blackberry users) know how to set up email on their phones?! The smartphone market is still quite small - a lot of phones don't even do email, but most now do MMS.Sod AT&T, what about the rest of the planet?
O2 iPhone 3G users have an unlimited data contract for the iPhone 3G.
What business it is of anyone's other than the end user whether the data running through the iPhone's connection that has already been paid for ends up being on the iPhone itself or a laptop a couple of feet away, I don't see.
I jailbroke my last iPhone specifically to tether for this very reason. I tethered my old HTC with no issues using the same SIM so O2 don't care. Once jailbroken the tethering worked a treat (although O2's 3G consistency doers leave a lot to be desired).
I haven't jailbroken the current one yet (previous one didn't take too kindly to being washed on 23rd Dec) and will hang on to see what MWSF brings, but this should be a readily available functionality for any smartphone, not restricted planetwide because AT&T reckon they can scam their customers just that little bit more

I couldn't care less for iPhone tethering personally but the rest of the news regarding iTunes sounds very promising.
I always thought that the iTunes Wi-Fi requirement on iPhone was due to licensing agreements as email attachments, Apps (and now podcasts) could be downloaded up to 10MB - all above the size of an average iTunes song. I hope this turns out to be true as it's annoying having to pop over to McDonald's to grab a Wi-Fi connection at lunch time when I'm need of purchasing a song on impulse
DRM-free - this has to be a biggie. It's got to happen or else Apple risks massively losing market share to Amazon (which, although I have not yet tried, is now available in the UK). I don't mind the odd price increase - that's inflation to be honest - but older classics at a lower price would be welcome, espcially as it's the primary reason for my iTunes purchases (otherwise I tend to buy the album on CD). At the end of the day, I think 79p for a song is good value considering the single costs £3.99 in the shops.
I would like to think that Apple would offer existing customers of existing purchases the option to re-download in DRM-free version. I know that this is technically possible because they made an error when selling Coldplay's new album Viva La Vida in DRM-protecting and then later offered those who bought it a free download of the DRM-free version (which it was advertised to be).
Also, long live the Mac Mini! I expect something more revolutionary in this area - particularly in terms of price - to combat the global downturn.
The MacPro isn't a clothing line. The design doesn't need a refresh unless it's for more hardware. If not, then keep it the same.
I would imagine that O2 wants to capitalise on sales of their add-on laptop dongles, which would be cannibalised if all iPhone users could get that for free. I agree that tethering should be an option - and a free one at that - but don't forget that laptops tend to use more network bandwidth than iPhones. That bandwidth doesn't go on opening web pages and emails, but on downloading movies and media content.
Do you think it's worth it for that price because when I get tethering I plan on canceling my home phone and DSL.

I don't really get this whole MMS thing. Who actually uses MMS when you can use email for free??? MMS has never done well in any market.
