I haven't had any problems yet, although the battery on it's first charge took an awfully long time, second charge that it's on right now is expected to be full charged in like 3 and a half hours

MBP 2.4.... I had issues the past 2 days with safari, after spending over 3 hrs (2 calls) with applecare support and performing archive and install and erase and install of OSX they couldnt fix the problem. Safari would just hang and firefox would load slow sometimes. Today I went to Starbucks and all of a sudden its normal. I hope I do not have more issues.

Works fine so far. Had some issues with the DVD drive initially but seemed to work itself out. Have had a few bugs, but I think they're software related since I'm swapped out a HD from a MB without reinstalling OSX. I'll eventually get to it.

Mine has the funky issues with backlight (that is triggered randomly, specifically the photobooth method) and the noise (hiss/blips and beeps) from the headphone jack when headphones are used.

Otherwise its fine.

Slanted F keys and clicking HD are my only complaints. Got lucky with the 9C84 Screen, no complaints there. Battery cover is firm, came with no scratches/dents. No major graphic bugs and finally no headphone noise :)

No problems here. I've been very happy with it (other than the battery draining when sleeping, but that seems to affect every late-2008 MBP). Display is 9C84.

sometimes the screen unexpectedly dims or brightens slightly. No problems with trackpad (or anything else), battery cover a little loose (but never even noticed until I read this thread).

Overall a happy convert here - glad I spent the xtra over the Dell Studio I was looking at (SO glad I don't have VISTA!).

Just waiting for a case now (Booq Vyper M3 not ready until end of January!!!).

Lots of problems for me. Frequent lockups, grinding fan noise, airport card will turn itself off and can not be turned back on without a full restart.
