Leaked Aluminum MacBook Case?

The word "MacBook" on the bottom of the case is centered.

Ok, I'm convinced. Line goes through "B" in "MacBook", the iSight, and all 3 lines cross at the same point.

anyone think all the white accessories... mighty mouse, power adapters, dvi converters etc are gonna change to a silvery grey colour?

it made sense for them to be white when everything else was, but now it kinda doesn't.

Personally, I wish that with the new keyboard and accessory box they'd have kept the Mac Pro's black. I wanted a long, black box... Ah, well. Waiting for Nehalem anyway; plenty of time for them to decide to change it...

If anything HAS to be alu, I'd prefer brushed. Apple really doesn't do well with the anodising – be it on their laptops or iPod Minis back when (pitting, flaking or even just plainly wearing off way too fast).

dont you people have anything better to do then try to find falut in the leaked pictures? NONE of the leaks the past few years, weather if it was an ipod or a mac were perfect. Most, like the nanos had crappy pictures. We wont know fopr sure till it comes out

magnetic latch reason for large bezel

I agree. The bezels are a bit old fashioned looking. Like metal though!

I totally agree that the bezel on the macbooks and MBA would be better smaller however I got to thinking that perhaps this has something to do with the requirements of the magnetic latch? I mean it makes sense as both the macbook and air have that huge bezel and magnetic latch. MBP doesn't have big bezel and has more traditional latch.

Just my thoughts. I'd rather keep the magnetic latch than have a thinner bezel but it would be sweet to get both

I doubt that the names will change. MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and MacBook will stick.

I agree. If the name changes the masses would get confused, think an old favorite was eliminated, and not realize it's right in front of them. Then mass chaos would rise the second coming of Bill Gates in a fire and brimstone...... it would be a mess.

A while back we recieved information confirming a Macbook-Air like keyboard in the upcoming Macbook Pro overhauls.

Not sure if the Macbook (if what above is true), will get a reworked keyboard, seeing as how it has the current Macbook Air-like keyboard sans backlight.

We'll have to wait and see.

I adjusted the levels in photoshop until you could see the box where they used the heal tool.

Also the bottom line is no where near straight. even if my red line wasn't straight we'd not see white on both sides at the same time.

I'm sad, I really wanted this to be real.

Virtually NONE of the screens on the current MacBooks or MacBook Pros are flat.

I wonder how they are going to differentiate the MacBook Pros from these. I feel there should be some obvious aesthetic difference other than size.
