Design (except for the camera) looks great! I am in for 5.4" model. That's the closest to the old SE I can get now.

Biggest takeaway from me is the thinner bezels. Makes everything look sleek and refined.
The current iPhone 11 just looks...frumpy.

"the square design makes this phone feel like it's from 10 years in the future"...I think he means past lol

I'm glad to see them going back to the square design, squared edges is my personal preference.

Using these magical things called my eyes to look at the pictures, that really doesn't seem to be the case.

Caught out by a paper town, I wonder...?

They deliberately made it smaller in the mock up to accommodate rumors, EverythingApplePro says so in his video. The original CAD he received (dated January) had the exact same notch as current iPhones and he changed it.

Am I the only one who finds the design somewhat retro than futuristic?
I like the screen design, I wonder about the smart connector - looks interesting, but I don't fancy the iPad pro shape although I like it on the iPad a lot!

Mabe this will change when I get actually to see one, but it reminds me of the iPhone 5, which is not close to my taste.

I know, it's a matter of taste in the end

What? iPhone 5 design is one of the best I have seen in a phone, and I believe many people here would agree based on all the comments... The new box-y, squarish design of the iPad Pro has been very well received.

I like EverythingApplePro, but he has a new video pretty much every week proclaiming that the new iPhone will have this or that, or look like this or that render, when he actually has no idea and is going off the same "leaks" as everyone else.

He has actually pretty accurate sources, and yes, he covers most leaks, but that's the fun of it. I am more concerned about his greediness, boy cramps like 7 ads in a 10-minute video, is he hungry or what?

No he’s going off leaks from Max him and jon are the best in the business for leaks.

Honestly this looks excellent. The thinner body is a huge deal on a larger smartphone. I'm assuming it won't get worse battery life than the 11 Pro Max.

I'm guessing the flat sides will be for the Pro models only. (6.1" and 6.7".) The 5.4" and other 6.1" model will probably retain the curved look of the 11 line. Also makes sense to make your Pro line look different given their higher price points.

The cpu efficiency from 7 to 5nm...will be erased by promotion...so the 6.7" and promotion will have almost the same battery usage as the current 11 pro max....maybe even 1 hour less...because with the same battery capacity, you cannot make it even just with the cpu going from 7nm to 5nm...when you go 120hz variable refresh rate+ an extra 0.2" display
Is there any chance the new screens might have variable rate refresh to get benefits of 120Hz but also battery savings when not needed? I spend a lot of time reading eBooks, news apps, calendar etc and I wonder just how low a refresh rate the system could drop down to on a page of static text without me noticing.

Also on battery life there was some speculation just after the latest Apple watches that the battery technology there might make it into the next iPhones. The latest Apple watch batteries apparently have hard shells and use less adhesive meaning that they can be slightly thinner for the same capacity. Perhaps internal component rearrangement plus slightly better density on the battery from Apple Watch battery tech might be enough to even get some modest increase in battery capacity to at least preserve battery life for the next generation. I can't imagine it will be much but at the very least I can see a way for Apple to at least preserve the current 11 Pro Max battery life and just maybe be able to claim another 30 mins or even an hour of life - a pretty trivial gain given how good the 11 Pro Max numbers already are but personally I would still like to see at least some forward progress on all specs however trivial just to show that Apple is still keeping its eye on that particular ball.

Also, don't forget that although the phone might be getting thinner it is getting very slightly taller and wider and with squarer edges probably able to push internal components closer to the edges so the overall loss in internal volume available for the battery might not be significant.

Navy blue + the candy bar version I missed out on because AT&T was never going to get a dime of my money?

I don’t care what god forsaken time I need to get up. It’s mine, it’s mine, it’s mine!

Well if you go through his videos, I'd say at least 75% of his "leaks" are nonsense and don't turn out to be true.

All his leaks he mentions max are pretty spot on who is his source. Max and Jon have similar sources

If Jon or max says it I would tend to believe it

I love the flat edged ipad pro design, so I‘d welcome it on the iphone. I currently have an iphone 11 pro max that i use as my main travel camera. Things that i’d like to see on the iphone 12 pro besides the flat edge design are:

1) 120 hz pro motion display
2) The ability to use an apple pencil on it...or a smaller apple pencil for the phone. I like to take notes & do quick sketches.
3) I would prefer a usb-c connector to match my ipad pro so i only need to carry one charger while traveling. I may be in the minority, but i do not like a totally wireless future for the iphone. Carrying around a wireless charging mat while traveling seems to be more of a hassle then just plugging in to a charger i already use for my ipad pro.

4) 5G

5) Last but not least, better cameras of course! particularly nightmode that works with the ultra wide angle camera. And lidar sounds interesting for better focus & more accurate shallow depth of field shots.

As long as the battery life is equal or better than 11 Pro Max - without that not interested regardless of the specs.

Oh man please look like this. Some serious iPhone 5 design vibes coming from this and I like it.

One oddity in the designs is that the size of the notch is the same as the one found on Apple's current iPhone lineup.

there’s a text overlay on the video that says the size of the notch has been left incorrect intentionally
