Leaked MacBook Pro Casing Confirmed?

i have yet to see a good photoshop of a black macbook pro, everybody just inverts it, which yes... does make the MBP black, but it makes the shadows highlights and the highlights shadows! (dont worry though, even i've tried to do it and it comes out like ****)

9 series is just a rehash of the 8 series really

ATI has the mobility radeon 3000 series coming out now and knowing how ATI seems to have better drivers w/ Mac's, I'd probably go for a mobility 3800 (or a 4800 soon please! :D)

I like it :) If it came out anything similar to that they would be onto a winner.

Personally I find the new style keyboards great, ( apart from the last revision of the macbook, which i think they changed supplier or tried to cut the cost in some way - its was unresponsive ) But me .2 revision black macbooks keyboard was great :d

So you think the optical drive and trackpad should go on the battery? And why did you switch everything around (ports swapped sides, optical drive switched sides, IR sensor swapped sides)? I don't think Apple would put the MagSafe on the other side. I don't exactly have a reason I think this, but I just do.

I also don't think Apple would have the seam running along through the top of the laptop, either. I think they would have a single sheet of aluminum (or whatever they're going to use) run across the entire top. and have the battery slide in beneath that.

Either way, I'm kind of hoping they do it more like the MacBook. I wouldn't want to lose a place to rest my hands if I take out the battery. I want easy hard drive access. I want the trackpad to be there when the battery's out. And wouldn't the battery be flimsy if they make it hang off the side like that? Seems to me that it would get broken quite easily that way.

And I didn't even notice this at first, but the keyboard's backwards too. Why? I realize you probably just flipped the image, but... why?
 
lol, i did just flip the image. Basically i got lazy, and just took one image to fit with another, but it had to be flipped. If you really want, drag it into photoshop and horizontal flip it again, just change the letters around the emblem back to normal.
 
As read through Engadget, I became depressed looking at how many manufacturers release Montevina based laptops today.

I looked and looked but didn't find any mention of MBP. <tear>

Still, your MacBook Pro idea would very nice. You should show it to Apple (once the image is flipped) and who knows but maybe they will agree and make it real. :D

Quick MBP

Attached I have a MBP that I made relatively quickly. Note however, that there is not just a color change, but also a thickness change (anyone who uses a MBP can tell that) and I made it so it doesn't curve towards the bottom, just the sides (that probably took the most time, actually). I haven't ever done a macbook pro mockup before, because I'd get started, find out how big a job is was, put it off, reopen it months later, find I didn't like where I had been going, start a new one, repeat the cycle.... But anyways, here it is.

^im not dissing your design or anything but i dont think the new MBPs will have a face like an iMac. mockupers or 'mockers' tend to use the design of other Macs to make it easier, otherwise it would be like designing a whole new Mac without the whole Apple-esque look.

i think the design on the MBA will tell you where the MBP is going. slightly thicker than MBA but thinner than current MBP with a wedge design, same keyboard or black chicklet keyboard, larger trackpad, no plastic edges, completely aluminium case.

No, no, no. I don't want Apple to make the MacBook Pro or any Mac even thinner.
What's this obsession with making everything thinner at Apple?

Couldn't agree more!!! Apple needs to start making their laptops thicker and heavier - like the ol' Osborne 1. Also, what's this obsession with larger and larger HD's? And faster processors? And ...
 
I want it in the middle

I don't want them to be Air thin but I would like to see them slightly trimmed from my MBP bought 2 years ago

Could be a little lighter for my needs
 
I just hope if a new macbook or macbook pro is released, i hope it is going to price reasonably. It looks good and apple hasnt made announcements of a new laptop but im waiting eagerly. BTW the date that is on that MBP photoshop is my birthday. LOL

So do you guys want to see a black aluminium MacBook Pro or just a standard aluminium colour MacBook Pro?
