Yeah cause Samsung was so creative with "Galaxy Fold".Wow, such a creative name (if true)
If this is true, what would an iPad Ultra look like? Will Apple essentially merge the two product lines and never release a folding iPad with cellular connectivity? Or is there a different kind of Ultra-hood they can give the iPad?
Ultra thickUltra makes sense for following reasons
Ultra premium pricing
Premium design with high level tech
Premium multitasking
Premium productivity
It’s not going to be ultra thick or ultra heavy. Unless you think a Pro is currently ultra thick and ultra heavy .Ultra thick
Ultra heavy
Ultra hot
Ultra expensive

Won’t be thick or heavy.Ultra thick

Completely the opposite of the Air though.Given the compromises we are start to see talked about, I'm worried this will be another iPhone Air, but just in a different shape.
Don't care what its called ... I just want it 🙂
(yes, there are users that want an foldable iPhone, even though if many here think it should not exist - might not be a mass market product due to price, but I think there are plenty of people wanting it)
iPhone Ludacris?iPhone Fold doesn’t sound premium enough. What name makes people want to spend over $2k for a first gen product?
Don't care what its called ...
I would even dare to propose it will not be called an iPhone altogether… Apple also likes to “create” new devices by giving them names (retina display as an example). Not a chance that anyone knows apples true marketing name for the product, which is likely one of the only things that can change up until the last minute, and certainly isn’t going to be gathered from Chinese supply chain sources given that it’s all from their American marketing team.
However, my personal opinion is that it will be neither, and much like MacBook Neo will be a name that no one is quite expecting, at least widely.
“iPhone Duo” perhaps, considering their last folding accessory was called the “MagSafe Duo” and it fits way more than “Ultra”. “Ultra” implies the best specifications, which this phone obviously will not have.
You may be right but can you show us a source or a rumor for that claim.Won’t be thick or heavy.
4.5mm open and 9 mm closed. Pro max will feel heavier in hand and in pocket
Rumours and leaks is all we can go on right now. All leakers said this is the goal as it should be given it's a foldableYou may be right but can you show us a source or a rumor for that claim.
Depends on your definition of last minute - they need to spend months before introduction building up an initial stock of devices and every one of those phones needs to go into a box with a name printed on it.Not a chance that anyone knows apples true marketing name for the product, which is likely one of the only things that can change up until the last minute, ...
I don't even think about Samsung at allYeah cause Samsung was so creative with "Galaxy Fold".
Thinking of a Pro Max x2It’s not going to be ultra thick or ultra heavy. Unless you think a Pro is currently ultra thick and ultra heavy .
