In Germany mobile phones are called “handys.” Doesn’t work so well in EnglishWell then, I think they should use a more fitting name, maybe: iHand, iPock, iBar or maybe repurpose the iPod name for it.

No 120hz screen? what's the Pro models got over the normal models? just an extra lens?![]()
I would be okay if the iPhone 12 mini had Touch ID on the power button in leu of Face ID.
The crazy part is they wouldn’t even have to make it thicker to put a bigger battery in. I mean high end android phones are doing it with being the same thickness (and in some cases thinner)Right. I’m pointing out that not everybody would be on board with thicker phone and “better” battery life. I wouldn’t...because my phone is heavy enough and lasts the day for my use case.
I think that it would be really great to have both. I miss touch ID and being able to unlock my phone from a distance/when I lay in the bed/when I'm sideway/...
High end Androids don't have the electronics in an iphone starting with face id. (the real implementation). And they have compromises such as pop-up cameras, bigger chins and foreheads or under the screen cameras (which has not really been totally proven.)The crazy part is they wouldn’t even have to make it thicker to put a bigger battery in. Maybe. But battery is also likely much smaller, and the battery has to do more than just drive pixels. So according to the rumor the iPhone 12 mini will have worse battery life then the iPhone 11. The iPhone 11 is 6.1” and the iPhone 12 mini is 5.4”. I would think that considering the number of pixels to be driven by the GPU to be less then those on the iPhone 11, the battery life could be similar to the iPhone 11.
No Touch ID is a massive miss by Apple here. Really bad mistake on their part not including this.
Gimme a black phone with silver trim that lies flat on a desk and can be used with one hand.

And there’s no way they don’t have a prototype with both Face ID and under-screen Touch ID running somewhere. This was a choice, not a technological limitation.
Mention of the ability for bi-lateral charging has fallen off on the last few months. Might be a feature, but certainly unannounced.
If it's in power like the Air, I'll be pumping refresh right before preorder time.Eh TouchId is far from what I would call as being anything worth getting people excited to upgrade to.
It reduces eye strain. That's a benefit of it.120 megahertz refresh is not
to happen in this century.
Apple sells phones based on benefits, not specs. You might not care about a better cameras, but plenty of people do. People have been whining about “120 Hz refresh” in this forum for weeks now, and not one single person has been able to identify any real benefit of that for anyone except (possibly) gamers. Like the people who want a 1000-hp engine in their car so they can drive to the mall.
I do go to the grocery store on occasion. Nothing where I need a battery to last more than a few hours, but where taking my mask off would be problematic, but using my fingerprint wouldn't.If you’re never out, why do you need TouchId then? Seems like you highly overpaid for a device that you barely use the functionality.

trust me, while these seem like minor upgrades on the surface, the things that seem incremental eventually are going to be huge. You’re not the only one. There are a lot of skeptics, predominantly long time Apple fans, that are tired of waiting for Tim’s fabled pipeline to happen and cut through the hype BS to voice our discontent with Cupertino’s conveyor belt of lazy complacent iterations. Even if we’re getting piledriven by faithful Tim stans who’ll growl “just don’t buy an iPhone durr”. After so many same-ish iterations in a row you’d finally expect a revolutionary device, alas, it’s clearly not happening.
