September could turn out to be a pretty expensive month for me. It seems like Nvidia is also going to be releasing their next-generation "Ampere" GPUs and I am also thinking about picking up my 1st Apple Watch!

At least $1500+ in the next month!

Here’s my guess.
Apple will hold and event in late September and announce everything.

- iOS 14 will be available on announcement day.
- iPad and Apple Watch are launched together as they’re going to finally allow iPad to pair to the watch??
- iPhone 12 launch in October
- iPhone 12 Pro launch in November.

I am not buying what John is selling. There is no way Apple will release the new Apple Watch separately much less press release.

I think John is looking for new channel subscriptions. He is one obnoxious person. I couldn’t make it through one of his videos. That was the first and last time I gave him any of my time.
Yes, exactly, this 200%.
I don’t care anymore if he is right, wrong or anything. Obnoxiousness is through the roof with this guy.
Does he pay MacRumors or other outlets to publish his leaks or something?
I guess it still drive clicks and views, as here I am whining about it.

What are you saying! iPhone is the real money making machine for Apple!
I agree with you today but I believe wearables (AirPods, Apple Watch and soon Apple Glass) are going to be the biggest products in the future. I don't know if that is 5 years from now or 10 years from now but that day is coming and Apple is positioning themselves for it. Right now Apple absolutely dominates the smart watch product category and as they put more sensors on it, it is going to keep growing in functionality and revenue.

And hopefully Air Tags somewhere in there between announcement day and November.

10 years.
Battery technology isn’t there yet for watches or glasses. im guessing they will off load process and power to a separate device...like an iPhone. 🙂

I'm happy the iPad is coming out earlier (if JP is correct, and he's been on the money lately). I just got a Apple Watch 4 (I'll have it next week) for very little money, and I am overdue for a new phone. So I'm excited to wait for the iPhone 12 (don't know which size I'll get). But wether I get a cheaper iPad or buy a used 2018 iPad Pro is still something I'm not sure about.

keep that in mind we have not seen any leaks for new iPads!

There usually are very few rumors about lower cost non-pro iPads. This new iPad is probs a replacement for the current iPad Air 3 (NOT the pros). They will probably just update the design to 11" iPad Pro design (thin bezels) and keep the A12 chip (otherwise it would outpower the Pros) so nothing much worthy of a rumor

I certainly hope Apple launches actual new iPad Pro models on September 7th. I’m itching to upgrade from my 2018 12.9” model, if they put an A14X in it, maybe include 5G. The screen could go on as is, given it’s so good already. Micro LED would be ok if they’re ready for that upgrade.

What is it that you don‘t like about your current iPad? I don‘t think there will be much change regarding iPad Pros, as they have been already updated recently... I‘m still on my 2017 12.9 which runs perfectly fine :)

Not sure what I expect from a new Apple Watch in terms of hardware.

To be honest I think it is approaching "feature complete" until there's some revolutionary technology improvement in battery tech which would enable it to get way better battery life and maintain cell coverage all day without an iPhone.

My S4 feels fast enough (first version I've used that does).

Maybe more sensors? But which ones?

Likely the s6 will get rid of the 3D Touch hardware (along with everything else apple make now) which could maybe make it smaller/thinner/lighter/bigger battery? But that's not likely to be a "major" or "game changer" improvement...

I really want a notchless phone and a glucose monitoring watch but I have a few years for that so until then I'm buying everything whenever it comes out, I don't care when. I have saved so much money this year not traveling or spending money doing anything and I'm still working everyday. My birthday is end of October so that's a good enough reason; might get a Tesla too. I want an Apple Silicon desktop (mini or iMac or Pro) although I'll probably keep what I have until my music notation programs update, they usually take a while to even catch up OS releases.

Who is going to buy the more expensive Pro when it comes out later than the non-Pros?

Apple usually goes Expensive models first, cheaper models later (to capture the "I need to get this now crowd" and have them overpay).

You would think Apple would release the pro models first to get as much $$ as they can before selling out the cheaper model. it just doesn’t make any sense.

His accuracy rate is about 80%

I will say that counts for a lot more than “sometimes”.
He did say he has never got a product announcement wrong.

I hope you have a very happy birthday and get yourself something nice.

I think this year I just want the watch. My iPad Mini 5 has a lot of life left and I’m all set for phones.

Lol, I remember one year when the best source of leaks on the new iPhones was itself an Apple Product.

I’m talking about Home Pod. The cutest leaker there ever was. 😂

iPad? Or iPad Pro? I think iPad. And perhaps an updated iPad mini with the flat edged design to charge the Apple pencil 2. That would be cool. I would update my iPad mini 5 in a heartbeat. I love it. But not being able to use the Apple pencil 2 that I got for my 11” iPad Pro is a major bummer. I refuse to buy a first gen Apple pencil for my iPad mini. So yeah, an updated iPad mini would be nice. I don’t expect new iPad Pros until next year. One with micro LED screens. And even then I probably won’t upgrade as my 2018 11” iPad pro still kicks butt.

Honestly people!

I'm just going to order whatever iPhone apple announces first and then will order a Pro model. So, looks like I'll be having two iPhones this year.

Yes, I know I'm part of the problem. People like me have made Apple a multi-trillion dollar company.

Can't wait till September comes soon enough. You guys know September is a very special month. It is the month of the iPhone.
