September could turn out to be a pretty expensive month for me. It seems like Nvidia is also going to be releasing their next-generation "Ampere" GPUs and I am also thinking about picking up my 1st Apple Watch!

At least $1500+ in the next month!
You forgot to mention the new Playstation and Xbox being released also in November, together with AMD's Big Navi and new Ryzens. But hey, thanksgiving has always been an "expensive" month for many in the US.

His accuracy rate is about 80%

I will say that counts for a lot more than “sometimes”.
Lets face it, this guy is just flipping a dice here. Apple has established a decade-long pattern of product releases and announcments so even a random MacRumors user following closly Apple business could be correct 80% of the time. If he predicts something with very low probability such as the announcment of VR/AR headset, that's another thing.

Prosser had some inside info on the iPhone SE2, but most of his predictions ever since have been questionable to say the least.

- New AirPods "ready to ship" this spring? Then postponed to WWDC? Still hasn't arrived.
- WWDC hardware predictions - WAY OFF! No hardware whatsoever.
- AirPower - Turned out to be a fake photo! Which he added his own watermark to...

He might have some guy on the inside of the supply chain, so he might be able to predict a release a few days ahead of the official announcement, that's it (MacBook Pro - reported same day, iMac a week ahead). Not sure I'd trust him for an event two months ahead, seeing as his WWDC predictions were so off.

I think the Apple Watch announcements are a bigger deal than the iPhone. That could be because I am slightly biased but, the watch sales are slowly catching up to the iPhone.

Honestly I don't know anyone that really cares about Apple Watch announcements any more. New iPhones are always still the draw and Apple knows it. So this makes perfect sense.

If this is true it all but confirms that the Apple Watch and iPad upgrades are going to be tiny as rumoured before. Quite disappointing as I feel like those products have become quite stagnant.
I wouldn’t say they are stagnant but more mature as the years have passed. How many people actually upgrade an Apple Watch or iPad annually? These devices seem to have a upgrade cycle of 3-4 years (excluding obsessed fans). Both these devices are very complete and it’s becoming a struggle to find features (hardware based) to demand IMO.

Hope nobody thinks new ipad means pro. It will be the updated 10.2 version

I can see series 6 being a press release as I don’t think it will be much different from series 5. Minor upgrade again but it’s hard to add much to a watch each year

Think the pro models will be a big disappointment personally. I’m sure camera will be great and video will improve too from the sounds. However with no 120hz and no real zoom improvements not sure it will be worth it

Camera would need to be stand out big I can’t see them improving it much this time around

Best opinion ever. he’s a tool without any sources

Highly doubt it. With it being an election year, rates for advertising are already high, especially in October and November. Apple (and everyone else) is doing all they can to avoid being caught in that time, as prices will limit what being seen and there's limited ad space available, as political ads have largely claimed much of it up already. It's simply not a time they want to compete in. The press is far less to talk about your new iPhone when they're pushing political coverage as their main focus during that time.

If the production constraints have led them to delay launch then what choice would they have? Apple aren’t just releasing to Americans either which a lot of people don’t realise.

iPhones aren’t just released in the US you know. There is a world outside the United States

i want to emphasize the article. this is the same leaker that said the Steve Jobs Heritage Edition of AR glasses is coming out which mark gurman has denied.

he also stole leaked photos of the reworked airpower and put his own watermark on them which turned out to be false.

make many guesses and obviously you’d be correct some of the time.

Works for Kuo

Can’t wait for a new Apple Watch... my series 2 has been great but time to upgrade!

iPad - A12

The A11 suffers from the Secure Enclave vulnerability documented in a story a few weeks back, plus I’m not even sure it’s being produced anymore.
