My Apple Watch series 1 needs upgrading badly, as battery life is on its knees. Gave me good service for 4 years though. I’m hoping that the Apple Watch 4 takes the place of the watch 3 at the £199 price point after the 6 is announced. Will be a big upgrade for me. Will then get the iPhone 12 5.4 model around November/December time probably. Also I believe the iPad Air 4 will get the A14 chip to mirror how the current iPad range is now.

This what a genuine Apple insider/leaker thinks about those Prosser claims:

Says it all really.

Come on...... Every single year we get these rumors and leakers claiming "the keynote will be delayed!" or "it's going to be held on (date)!". Yet how many times were they proven wrong? For crying out loud Apple is known for their routine releases and keynotes during specific months.

I just highly doubt Apple would change their regular keynote from September to October after they have established their brand's schedule for YEARS. I mean, come on, even the iPhone X that was not released until October had its keynote during the regular September event!

They aren’t moving the dates for the fun of it it’s due to something else that has screwed the world for months

“who sometimes shares accurate knowledge..” only Macrumors would write an article based on someone who sometimes shares accurate knowledge lol.

Never said that the change of dates were for fun at all. Not sure where you got the idea.

But then sure, expected delays for actual shipment and release of the phone given the current pandemic at hand. For the presentation? I just highly doubt that they would ruin their routine announcement.

The iPhone X suffered from a similar delay (although on its components instead), but the keynote still delivered on schedule a couple years back.

Anyhow I just find these speculations every year over the keynote's specific date has become more of a gimmick and exposure trick from "leakers". All those claims that the date would change this year/delayed/on the same old week they routinely does every year....... It feels fake to me when we get into the same cycle of "leaks" every year........

iPad?

What more would one want in what we have. I am on the 2018 and it is a dream machine. They will have to bring out a feature to make me jump that I am not asking for. This thing is amazing.

Going to skip the 12, don't see a compelling reason to upgrade. More hopefully they will use the event to announce the 1st ARM MacBook.

Reasons I’m skeptical since there’s a few die hard Prosser fans.

He said there was a Steve Jobs edition of AppleGlasses. (sounds like he got trolled into believing this one)

He said at WWDC that iOS was going to be newly named iPhoneOS.

He also said there would be Apple high-end over the ear headphones released at WWDC

He also said the iPhone SE would have the same camera setup as the XR.

He also stole an “unreleased” picture of AirPower and watermarked it and claimed it was a leak. He later deleted his tweet and denied it all.

He claimed that Apple was brining XCode to the iPad.

He also claimed Airtags would be released at WWDC.

He was adamant about the Pixel Ultra (lol)

Just like this leak, he always says “it could change.” That way when he is off he will, like usual, claim that “things change.”

Given the massive effort involved in putting a virtual presentation together (the new standard set by WWDC), I don’t think it makes sense for Apple to do this twice, within a month, with their most important product coming second. Release dates may have shifted, but this is still their most important presentation every year. Imagine the response following a whole show/announcement in September that doesn’t include a new iPhone.. talk about buzz kill!
