Why would a want an _Apple_ monitor? There are plenty of monitors around, for all prices. I can get several models for £80, I can get 2540 x 1440 for just over £200, 4K for similar prices. It's only at the high end, 5k or 6k, where things get expensive.

Because not everyone focussed on getting the best possible interface to their computer or actually getting work done and are more interested in paying extra for desk bling that is uncompetitively priced and specc’ed.

1) Some people like when everything matches - And Apple displays in the past have been damn nice.
2) I'd guess if they did release a consumer one, it would be a 5k like the iMac.

Hopefully a new Apple TV will have the capability to have Spatial Audio for Airpod Pros & Max. And at a reasonable price to compete. (not holding my breath on the price) ;)

Please give us a re-designed iMac and professional notebook re-design.

And for everyone who says "but...but...it will be the 21/23 inch iMac, like the rumors say," I would just ask:

When has Apple recently re-designed the LOWER end of the product line before the upper end?

First Retina Notebook? 15 inch.

First 5K display 27 inch iMac (at least a year or two before the 4K smaller one).

High end almost always seems to come first with the lower end models getting the re-design later.

If there is a re-design of any Mac, it will be high end first.

An event for AirTags and iPads?

Boring, uninteresting, irrelevant, couldn't care less!

New Mac's with Apple Silicon please.
iOS is stale at this point; macOS is definitely the more exciting option right now. IMO of course.

I never understand these types of posts. Looking at Lenovo they NEVER change their designs of those boring ugly Thinkpads yet nobody is posting on forums constantly begging them for redesigns. All Dell does is does small aesthetic improvements on their notebooks. HP does nothing. Razer notebooks stay the same year after year. Why people constantly need Apple to redesign their Macs every couple of years is beneath me. And for what, the sake of change? It's not like a redesign is going to improve your workflow. Are computers tools or decorations?

My guess is they have quite a lot of announcements to make, possibly including an affordable Apple monitor, higher spec'd Mac mini and maybe low end iMacs. That's my hunch fwiw.

I think they wont talk Macs at this event, but leave that for wwdc in June.

why waste the money on an iPad now. you get the same, more powerful processor in a MacBook Pro or AIR for around the same price.

Now you have cannibalized the iPad sales with ARM Macs.

If ARM MacBooks get touch screens its even worse for iPad sales

much like the iPhone killed the iPod sales.
What? I'm trying really hard to find the logic here. What does the processor have to do with anything? They're two completely different devices.

The iMacs have looked the same on the front since late 2006, 2007. Are you serious right now? People buy Apple for their build quality as well as their modern, sleek, aesthetic designs.

15 years ago is not modern.

If you don't know the answer then I don't understand why are you with Apple. I really don't

Not sure why Apple would need an event this month when WWDC is in 90 days.
Because WWDC is almost always software-centered event. Apple has has many different services and operating systems that a single event only allows for very high-level presentation of key new features, functionalities and updates. Apple portfolio of product has been increasing in the last years with the introduction of the HomePod y HomePod mini, Apple TV+, Apple Pay and Apple Cash, AirPods Pro and Studio, Apple Fitness+, Apple Arcade, etc, etc. All these services and products need to be refreshed annually, on top of all other other products and services, including iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Macs, iOS, MacOs, WatchOS, ATV, AppStore, Apple Music, etc, etc. Apple also had to release brand new products via a press release in the last year since all scheduled event were already too busy. This is something quite rare for Apple, which usually makes a keynote for all announcements, big and small. I wouldnt be surprised if Apple soon moves to 5 events per year, with one in early Spring, the WWDC, and then squeeze 3 events after summer and before the holiday shopping season. The wide portfolio of products Apple now has just requires it. It is either this, or we can get now used to receive product and service announcements via press releases, rather than keynotes.
