I find it hilarious that the 'Low cost' iPhone is what the most expensive iPhone used to be.

This is the most uninspiring year for iPhones, especially as someone who loves the iPhone SE.

Although rumours are interesting (and thats why we come to marrumors), I am not sure what purpose it serves to leak details just 2/3 hours of the keynote.

Apple should just cancel the keynote and ask these people to take the stage.

Weird choice, Apple always ignores the "would be" most popular choice! Like it did with 32GB when we had 16 and 64gb.

64GB for the Xs models is a slap to our face...

Depends on the price. I think it will have the same price as iPhone 8+, expensive but not as iPhone X.
Xr can start at iPhone 8's price point, have 64GB than have 128 and 256.
If those are the prices Xs will be the model I'll buy, same price as my 8+ with a new SoC, better camera etc.
If Xs starts at iPhone X's price point then I don't know what to do, I don't feel like spending so much for a phone. I may go for the Xr or keep my 8+ for a while

If 128 is the base option MOST people wont ever upgrade and apple loses 150$ extra from millions of people.

Personally I think this is shady and apple knows exactly what they are doing to get more money out of people.

good business practice but for loyal customers this should leave a bad taste in their mouth.

Good business's keep their customers happy. apple is not doing that with this whatsoever. two years in a row now
If they offered the 256 for 100$ more id be a little happier. 150$ more on top of a grand is ridiculous.

As a business are you ok with losing 150 million dollars worth of revenue for a million upsells?

Remember how long it took Apple to ditch 16GB entry level? This isn’t nearly that bad and let’s hope it doesn’t get there again.

Its worse IMO because apple has offered 128 gig phones year past so they are capable of delivering it. But they choose not to just to milk people out on more money because they know they will spend 150$ more to get more storage even though most people dont need 256.

Yes like wtf. Why couldn’t they just call it the iPhone... I’m going to stick with my 256gb iPhone X another year, I had purchased Apple care plus so I might as well.

If I owned an X, I would've kept it for at least 2-3 years. But who knows? You may get a nice trade in deal. Some people managed to get $700+ for their 64gb iPhone X, so it would chalk up to about $300 in usage, which isn't bad for almost a year's worth of usage.

But given you have the full works, 256gb w/ Apple Care Plus? Doubt you'll get your $s worth. But fear not as the policy does have a pro-rated refund.

I had it on my iPhone 6s Plus years ago. I took it off after people wouldn't pay for my phone. Sold it after w/o Apple Care.

I may be part of the minority but the storage options finally look decent to me. I always approach upgrade cycles as, "is this worth it?" If I can't answer a definite yes, I buy AAPL instead.

This has me sitting on a iPhone 6 still and I now feel like the storage is finally in line and pricing for the regular customer. To me, Apple Music and such help people not need the full blown storage options. While I use Apple Music, I still store all my "favorite and must have music" on my phone.

I honestly don't see what people need 256gb/512gb in a phone? I create content too and the only thing I can think of is the people that never delete anything. That falls under the Apple services side as well with iCloud.

The XR reminds me a little of the iPhone C with all the color options. Will be the entry level iPhone for sure.

Would be nicer to have just iPhone names like Mac OS X Names. iPhone X Mojave & X Mojave Pro -> everyone just knows when it came out, if its the same naming as on OS X. Or just kill the X completely. iPad doesn't have any number. It's just iPad and iPad pro. Use iPhone & iPhone Pro. Only difference is the year.
